This is probably the newest official ROM for Lenovo A788t

Android 4.3 JellyBean

I'ts hard to find on the Internet, i took it from http://chinagadgetsreviews.com

This ROM does not contain GAPPS etc. It's pure Lenovo ROM.

It can be easy rooted with KingRoot.

Before you proceed: read instruction at least once.

Installation:

Open archive, find ONTIM_Marvell_MultiDL_1.3.0.61_AppOnly.zip and unzip it.
Go to ONTIM_Marvell_MultiDL_1.3.0.61_AppOnlyDriver
Run DrvInstaller.exe if you are running x86 os, or DrvInstaller_x64.exe if you are running x64 os.
Unpack phone software (LenovoA788t_S18260_150114)
Run ONTIM_Marvell_MultiDL.exe
Press F8, configuration window will appear
In BLF file press button with text "…"
Point to unpacked software LenovoA788t_S18260_150114HELN_LTE_Nontrusted_eMMC_400MHZ_1GB.blf
Click "Save"
Now turn off your phone. Remove battery
Hold VOL+ button on phone
Still holding connect it to PC
Put in batterry
Press F9, and wait till software start loading. Now you can depress VOL+
Wait for "[8]BootLoader DownLoad Successfully".
Restart your phone.

First start can take some time.
