This ROM have original Lenovo recovery, but if you want I attached a CWM recovery for A916 (this is not mine)
- Download FlashTool, extratct and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- With Flashtool select the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Open in Flash tool the Options / Options / Download and select DA DL All with Checksum
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- have to set "Firmware Upgrade" or "Download only", but do not use "Format All + Download", because you will lose the IMEI
- Press Download
- connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- install the vcom driver if you don't do this before
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after, yellow, grey and green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
- The first boot about 1-2 mins

ive flashed this firmware on a916 .. but when im trying to flash the firmware that was before this it gives me pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded .. any solution ?
I can't install this rom, when I push Install zip in the recovery he says installation aborted and always reinstall the old rom… what the hell is this? it's impossible for me delete the current rom.
Are you use the cwm recovery?
You read something written from above? This firmware setup with Flash Tool, not with recovery. Be careful.

Could you please let us know if the new ROM allow the dual standby function, either by code or straight from the new flashed version ?
Yes I use CWM recovery, the same of this page, but i can't install the rom with the install zip of the recovery. in flash tool I use the option Download only. My english is not very good because my languaje is spanish, sorry!
Hello, This firmware works very good. Dual sim Stand By needs to be manually programmed dialling the code you mentioned before. Do not know if 4G speed work as I do not have 4G yet in my provider -I will try with a 4G from a friend (Iguess it does work as modem info has not been modified).
Have not included the new CWM A916 recovery for two reasons 1st. Just in case I need to recover old firmware version 205, 2nd. Do not know how to include in the system.
Is it possible you can tell me how to include?

One note: do not install from ZIP it does not work. Only use Flash Tools and rest of archives. (I translate this last in Spanish).
Una nota: No instalar desde Zip. No funciona. Usaar solo la aplicación Flash Tools y el rest de los archivos. Seguir al pie de la letra las instrucciones. Cuando se conecta el movil para actualizar saldrá en el administrador de dispositivos un dispositivo que hay que actualizar con los drivers VCOM y acto seguido se pondrá a actualizar.
