Changelog for MIUI v4.8.8
1.Full new ROM made again from scratch. 2.Aroma installer and MI Boot logo removed due to certain incompatibilities and also to reduce size. 3.Android L Keyboard removed because it consumed more RAM , so old Google keyboard is back.(If anyone wants it then i will provide a separate flashable zip) 4.New screen turn off animation. 5.All apps have been updated like Music , File Explorer , Security , Calendar , Phone and Contacts 6.Camera now supports HDR and Burst shots. 7.New Data saver feature now available. 8.Apps which require root permission will be shown in a separate list 9.Play Store and Gmail are now made as a system app by default and MIUI Market has been removed. 10.Notification light are now working with redesigned menu and will flash on missed calls and messages. 11.Settings Menu has been totally redesigned. 12.Engineer mode is now working properly. 13.SRS Sound is now built in the ROM .(If you dont like it then you can easily disable it and run any other sound mod of your choice) 14. Text magnifying glass is an add-on feature which you can disable 15.All tweaks and init.d scripts were written again. Bugs: By default the phone is set to use 3G Networks and you wont be able to switch to 2G because switching between 2G/3G is missing. But you can use Engineer Mode to switch between GSM and WCDMA mode.
