I had a problem with the procedure described, since after flashing correctly the CWM the reboot always gave me the stock recovery instead of the CWM, so no ROM installation was possible. I banged my head over scores of forums, and eventually succeeded using this procedure.
First of all I used adb: it can be found among downloadable files in this very post, but you can find interesting these:
http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=2588979
http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=2535160
Here's a kinda of guide:
http://en.miui.com/thread-5862.....3-1-1.html
Then I put both the CWMrecovery.img file nd the boot.img (that's inside the ROM.zip) into the adb folder. I started the windows dos terminal and moved to the adb folder directory. Then used these commands:
adb devices
adb reboot fastboot
adb devices
fastboot flash recovery CWMrecovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot
At the reboot power swith+volume up + down buttons gave the CWM recovery instead the default stock one (andorid recovery system)! Then I found the "install from zip" voice of the menu, and voilà, it worked!
Hope it helps, since it seems that more than one had this problem but found no clear guide to solve, just hit & miss trials. Enjoy
