Installation
1 – Flash the ROM LineageOS-14.1
2 – Flash the SuperSU (2.82)
3 – Flash the Gapps (x64 7.1)
4 – Reboot

I have this rom since 1 week and i've tried the Pixel by SuperEvil ,the AOSP and other roms Nougat but this one is surely the best.Probably it's not the fastest ,infact i think the Pixel By superevil is a faster,but actually this rom is really fast and stable.Absolutely No Major Bugs.

2Sometimes the touch screen become crazy,but it's not disturbing because it's rare.
3Even if it isnt a bug ,there isnt dt2w
Why to stay still with Marshmallow?
Because there isn't Xposed support,and due this two minor bugs.Else you can update to Nougat.
The battery could be better,but it's like in my last marshmallow rom.

DT2W is a battery drainer, activating it you will get weak battery life. This is one reason I think @daniel_hk did not implement it in his work. Hardware related, Lenovo K3 Note is not 100% compatible with Doze mode, (some sensors are missing) and having dt2w active will make things worse. After several months of S433 ROW, Lineage OS 14 is my daily driver.

Bugs that I have noticed (phone : Lenovo K3 note a5040)
- When you call, the phone screen go black , No button will respond , screen will turn only once the receiver disconnect the call
..
- Batter used to drain very fast while connected to Mobile data Jio (with LTE).
- Battery charging is slow.
Will post more on new issues, if any.

Lineage OS is exactly the same as Cyanogenmod, what are you talking about?

This rom is superb faster than all other rom but provide solution for this 2 bug

Almost a perfect ROM. Except a few minor bugs.
Both internal and external storage work. No problem with the network over the Wifi or the SIM. Both sims work fine. No DT2W, but not an issue for me. It only drains my phone battery faster.
1. When connected to my Bluetooth headset, it gives me a 5 sec delay before playing the audio. Can live with that.
2. MTK Engineering Mode does not work. It says the device is not supported.
3. MTP mode does not work, so can not transfer files between my phone and PC. Have to use other means like OTG to transfer files. Not sure it is a problem with the ROM or with my phone, it worked in some earlier ROMs. Not tried in all of them, so not sure.
4. Wifi hotspot deos not work. Hotspot is activated and shows that its on. But my PC cannot connect to it. Shows some error. But found a fix for this in other ROM. Downloaded Zip from this link and flashed it. Problem solved. Now it works without an issue.

I did not face it but those of you who face the sensor issue while in call, you can fix it with this following link. Just download and flash. Have not tested it as I did not face the issue with this ROM. It worked in my earlier ROM (AOSP Beta 3). Just posting as some others mentioned about it.

This is stable than most other Nougat ROMs I tried. If the above isses do not bother you, this can be used as a daily driver.

Can you tell something about camera?
Does it work on all apps? (whatsapp etc…)
Does one need to install 3rd party cam apps to record videos or no problems like on vibe ui?
Dont you really face any WiFi drops on this rom? Cuz I've tried all the Nougat roms out of this one and always got wifi drops?
And GPS, 3g-4g and other stuff (except what you said) work fine with no issues?
Sorry for asking many questions because I'm really tired of flashing roms and getting deadly bugs from the roms.

Camera works fine for me. No issues till now. In my previous ROM, I had problems with video recording. So I had to use Footej Camera and it worked fine. But with this ROM, I flash Stock varient of the Gapps instead of the Pico varient that I used for my previous ROM. So the default camera app in this ROM was repalced with Google Camera app (ver. 2.2). It actually replaced many default apps in this ROM with the Google apps, like Chrome instead of the inbuilt browser, Camera, Music app with Google Play Music and Email app with Gmail. So, had no issues with the Google Camera. Video recording works in both the Camera App and 3rd party apps. Tested it with Whatsapp. No issues.
And coming to the network, everything wirks fine. No Wifi drops and both sims work fine. And 4g works well on the first sim. Have not tried data on the 2nd sim. So not sure about it.
Only issue is that GPS seems a little buggy. Sometimes doesn't point to my exact locaion.
And Smart lock is a little off. Trusted faces, devices and voice work. But trusted places sometimes does not work as it should. I saved my home as a trusted place, but it sometimes still asks me for the unlock pattern when I was at home. And doesn't ask for the pattern when I was travelling. I checked with trusted face off, so I'm sure its an issue with GPS.
Just found two new bugs.
1. YouTube videos appear zoomed in or out. Has anyone found a fix for this?
2. Images from camera appear upside down. Found the same thing in other ROMs. So not sure if it's a problem with the ROM or an issue with my phone.
With this ROM I find a new bug wach day.
Mobile network is fine but whenever I restart my phone, I loss the mobile signal of about 5 to 10 minutes and only get the network after a couple of restarts. Untill the even the SIM settings are greyed out. Strange thing is that, anyone who calls me during this period hear my phone ringing, but the call doesn't show up on my phone.
Minor isseue but sometimes irritating when I have to explain about it to someone who tries to call me and thing that I don't take their call.
Critical Call drop issue, Battery drain fast. dont use this rom until fix.
I had 2 issue
one is hotspot notworkng but its soleved by one patch
Second one is YouTube like some videos not playing and some videos play smoothly I don’t why but if u can slove this bug then i will fully satisfied with this awesome ROM ….
This is a superb rom.. One if the best I have tried..
I came across some bugs and including a major bug..
Most of the time I’m not able to make calls. ( Showing : ”Unable to make calls. Please retry”)

Otherwise the rom is great.. need a fix urgently..

Not sure if its the same issue you are facing, but found that when you are on mobile data on one SIM, outgoing calls don't go through the othr SIM.
