MIUI 4.8.29 PORT FOR S7189 MT6582
1-Install with CWM recovery
2- Wipe Data,Cache,Dalvik
3- Search file rom in SD card
4- Install it!
5- After finishing, please also install miui gapps
6- Then, wipe data,cache and Dalvik again!
7- Start, take a while, be patient.

Dual 3G???
Hi ,phisically, 1st Sim Slot is for 2G, the 2nd Sim Slot is for 2G/3G, How can be Dual 3G? , Please let me know if you have found the way to do that without changing hardware… thanks a lot
Hey jasj23, do you have any skills in porting rom? I have this phone too and I am waiting something about android 5.0 to xolo one that has same config as start s7189 mt6582 phone. I didn't have any skills to do that, but can learn.

Hi, well i do not think that it would be possible right now, we do not even could cook a rom with kit kat which is 4.4, dont even bother to try with 5.0 considering that is a very recent distribution and probably full of bugs and incompatibilities… I encourage you to learn and try, cheers!
By the way, has the people tried my rom of miui 4.8? why dont you give me a positive feedback? it is working well? it is not a buggy rom , and I barely have 1 single positive feedback , i spent many hours porting this rom and i diserve a THANKs, i checked that many people viewed this rom… and also checked that other guys who released buggy roms they got good feedbacks… quite unfair..
this disappointed me a lot… do not know if i should release more roms

About 5.0, I know that is new and it doesn't have to mtk6582 too, I was only warning about it because this xolo phone mtk6582 with 5.0 rom. 4.4.2 is not ported to our phone for now because experienced developers didn't tried, alof of mtk6582 phones has 4.4.2 rom. I can help to develop one 4.4.2 to our phone, but I have no idea how to start. THL L969 has same screen resolution and processor fo our phone and uses 4.4.2 android rom I think, if I am right, it can be a good start to port. About your MIUI rom, I didn't tried it because I am not too much fan of miui, I will download and test it later.
I tried to port THL kit kat, and i got bricked the phone, it is a nightmare, i think that 5.0 maybe would be better option, I will try to port i promise.

I tested it and it didn't work on my phone, have no idea why. It freezes on MI screen.
When that happens, make full wipes again, and restart… it will work.

Anyone else getting a battery drain?
fully charge the battery after installing the rom, then go to recovery and wipe the battery stats, that should work.
If you experience other battery problems, check apps running background, apps syncs, and also download a battery management app.
Does this rom support HDMI out?
Flashed rom with ctr recovery. Had to copy custom boot audio to system media folder. Very happy with performance. Great work, thank you. Are you planning an update to V6? Certain 6582 have kitkat. Would it be possible to port kitkat kernel from one 6582 to this device?
