No. It's 5.0.2 can you believe? All miui forums are full of people complaining about that these is a new miui version but running on the same old Android base.

I tried the new miui 8 and I don't like it. It's much noise for nothing. Sluggish just like miui7 and still 5.0.2!!/><

guys…if you want to flash this rom…make sure you didn't wipe the system cause when you wipe the system…it will pop up an error when you flashed this rom…the same thing happen to me for the first time i flashed this rom…but now after doing some tweaks…i think this rom is more awesome than the miui 7…my current ver. is 6.6.17….
