How can it b signed in to an account i dont really know about…it shows instantly after accepting terms and conditions how do they come to know?? That too m in airplane mode and i even have swept data cache everything n i dont know which mi account they are talking about. I never had such kind of numbered mi account n my mi account i had 3 yrz back was on redmi 2 prime that too through my google account. I dont know why it it coming automatically…
I have exactly the same problem. I bought the phone on ebay. It is locked to the previous owner's MI acount. You have to get the owner of the account to unlock the phone from his (or her) account. They have to log onto their MI account and remove the phone. The person who sold me the phone didn't reply to my emails, so I'm stuck. So I flashed a different ROM – AEX 4.5. It's probably not as nice as the MIUI, but at least the phone works now.
Googling around, I found that apparently there is a way of removing this link, but I haven't tried it yet.
Very Good ROM…best thing..battery backup…some apps freeze running.. Ex. Facebook, YouTube, Any browser…all are freeze when starting this all device hang problem…
