In this version the modem and the baseband are not included. You must proceed to the manual installation via recovery.
If you don't get any device ID in your device please copy modem.img to system/etc/frimware

Hey everyone,
I don't recommend installing this ROM, because of the following reasons:
- Slow boot and startup time
- It doesn't recognize SIM Cards
- It doesn't recognize IMEI
(You should replace the Modem.img file manually to fix the IMEI and SIM network problem)
- You can't sign in to your MI Account
- You can't sign in to your Google account if you have activated 2 steps verification
So, basically you can't even complete the setup to enter the main menu!
If you are interested in MIUI, I recommend installing MIUI 8 stable ROM instead, using this link:

Use Wi-Fi for Setup First Boot.
Don't be kid , This is MIUI 9 , not 8 or 7.
Should replace ModeM.img , Every MIUI Based Phone or Xiaomi Phone need Wi-Fi to setup success because this UI can't use custom APN on First boot , After be pro in Rom and Custom Roms , Comes and Comment.

I tried to replace modem.img through root explorer but all in vain again unable to get imei msg appeared. Kindly help

I solved the modem problem. Just use 7-Zip and copy modem.img file from miui8 ROM and paste it in miui9 ROM and install as usual.
My phone is Huawei G700 U20 , I tried setup this rom, but sim cards is not working, how can ı fix that problem…??? Is there a solve of this problem…? Thanks for your helps …

I solved my sim problem. But there is not turkish language in rom 
, I tried add turkish language by jbart and some locale apps , but there is not a solve … do u know anything about add turkish language in this rom… Please can u add turkish language too into this rom RILYNSO ???

سلام، من بعد از نصب این رام دچار مشکلی شدم، بعضی وقتهای وقتی دکمه پاور رو میزنم تا صفحه نمایش خامش بشه ، ، دوباره اگر دکمه پاور رو بزنم دیگه گوشی
ااصلا بالا نمیاد، چند بار هم ریست فکتوری و از این بازیا ، نمیدونم چیکار کنم ، راه حلی ندارید ؟

نسبت به نسخه هشتم کاستوم رام میوآی ارزش نصب کردن ندارد، چون سنگینتر و کندتر است و مشکلات بیشتری دارد.
باتشکر از دولوپر این رام دوستان با توجه به تجربه ای که از این رام داشتم ، رام خوبیه باگ های کمی داره مشابه رام میوی 8 و یه مشکل عدم شناسایی سیم کارت داره که به راحتی رفع میشه

نسخه هشتم میوآی باگهای کمتری دارد و سبکتر و سریعتر است، در ضمن برخلاف این رام مشکل عدم شناسایی سیم کارت ندارد.
