Rom unstable, weak wifi, problems charging cell phone off.
You also have a signal problem ??
After installing the firmware I had two problems:
Both simcards were not recognized
WLAN was not working
I had to switch back to original firmware. With the original firmware android 4.4 everything works fine except the GPS.
Pls support with good ROM which can solve the GPS issue

With the firmware 5.3.13 both simcards are recognized and WLAN is working fine. Thank you for the work you did! GPS is not working but GPS was never working with any firmware. I am not sure but GPS not working could be a hardware problem. I also noticed there is no german language support. There is greek and englisch language support which is for me acceptable.
I finally decided to flash this rom. I get a bootloop and can't enter recovery anymore to restore my backup.
Before I had official KitKat rom from October last year, and Carliv recovery v2.7. Is it because of that?
I have S2 Advanced 32GB version. This rom should be compatible with that version, right?
Anyone with same issue or solution how to get it working? Or at least to get my backup back?

I was able to enter into recovery through adb fastboot (after dozens of attempts), and restored my backup successfully.
One thing I noticed when I still had MIUI flashed, was that charging animation (when phone was not booted) was heavily corrupted. Part of the image was centered on the screen, and the charging animation was i the upper left corner. Also later I found that I indeed was able to go into recovery mode, but the sceen was black, so I thought it wasn't working anymore. I suppose it was pure luck I was able to get in that single time and restored my backup immediately.
So, anyone? I still want MIUI. How to flash it without bootloops and possibly without bricking the phone. Am I the only one?

I finally managed to install MIUI.
I downloaded the newest 5.3.27 version, and wiped everything before flash.
It's beautiful! Will need some getting used to, as it's much different from v4/v5 I tried in the past.
So, if anyone has issues like I did, first wipe everything, then flash!
works like a charm, good job.
only problem, but this is problem of all roms and all mtk6592 phones, is gps. the signal is very weak, if u get gps fix at all.
@miuipro, there is a softreboot when I run YGPS after EPO download in mobileuncle mtk tools.
