- kernel 3.10.65+ from Jiayu NewUI rom
- baseband V5.P17 : YES is KK modem to solve airplane mode bug Revert to modem V39.P19, for me it has best LTE performance
- some libraries from MIUI.SU custom MIUI 8 rom for Jiayu S3, TF Extreme v2.4 and Jiayu NewUI
- all other files from Xiaomi.eu en.miui.com rom for Redmi Note 2 Global
- miui root not present, SuperSU is installed with the rom
- removed some unused libraries and binaries, because related to MT6795 PowerVR gpu.
- add some useful apps: AcXdcc, AdFree, CpuSpy
- for all versions, read changelog on xiaomi.eu
NEW: modified Updater.apk: now you will receive OTA update of this ROM, don't worry about the downloaded file name, check only if it start with prefix "caber_", i must retain HMNote2 in the file name to let Updater.apk retrieve changelog info from xiaomi.eu servers.
Sorry, no more OTA update with miui.com global rom. If system propose you an update DON'T DO IT.
Installation
Use a custom recovey to install this ROM like TWRP.
Copy .zip to root of your SD card, power up into recovery mode, select Wipe Data Factoy Reset _ONLY_ if you come to MIUI from another ROM type, (no need to execute factory reset if you already use MIUI ROM), now Install ZIP from SD card.
First boot after install take very long time (5-6 min), wait patiently.
Choice English language to correctly complete the initial setup, otherwise MiCloud will crash and you can't complete the initail setup (this is a MIUI known bug). also to speed up initial setup, do not insert your Google and Xiaomi account informations.
Don't activate MiMessage and Find Device features, they are payment services (just one sms for each).
When installation is completed you can safetly change language and insert your Google and Xiaomi account informations.
Known BUGs
1 – Camera HDR crash.
2 – Return from fly mode don't work.
3 – Sometimes screen goes black, need to cycle power button to reactivate (maybe solved)
4 – High battery drain (a bit better in new MIUI 9)
5 – Second space not working (works from 6.8.25)
6 – Long screenshot not work (works from 6.7.21)
7 – Color problems in FullHD video recording (works from 6.8.25)
8 – usb MTP PC connection problems
9 – OTA update are not for Jiayu S3
and more i don't know yet! 
NFC and Gesture are not present because not present in original Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 ROM, don't ask me to add, i can't do that.

I understand that no wipes are necessary if updating from a previous MIUI 8 version. Is that correct? No dalvik or caché wipes?

how do you port it when im porting it the camera is not working although the rear is ok but when im switching to front it force close and also the video recording is not working too . that is only the bug that i encountered can you tell me how to fix it or what files should i replace in order for the front camera and video recording to work ?

* The fisic buttons home, back, etc, are always iluminated..
I search, and select the buttons off, but are always iluminated.. maybe this problem draw the battery fast..
If you find a solution pleas tell me..

Hi ,i tried to port this on mine but encountered a persistent bug on Setup Guide, I can't procee to Mi Account sign-in cause if force-closes, mind sharing what did you do/replaced to fix that bug? Thanks for the help!
USB connection via ADB (e.g. Total Commander ADB-Plugin) works well with this ROM. BLE works, too. Lockscreen deactivation with bluetooth device finds no bluetooth device, but I can live without this (and NFC) because it is a fast, nice ROM. Good work!
PS: Might be OT, but after painful exchange of the usb-socket I can recommend using a magnetic adapter that fits into the usb-socket so that you can use the Xcables for connection and charging. No matter how careful you are, after about 2 years those usb-sockets break (can be exchanged manually with some soldering skills, though).
Is 6.11.17 was corrupted? Many of theme complete with errors and time to redownload. Also it can’t open the zip file.
you are right, something in the upload process goes wrong, size of .zip don't match.
