DESCRIPTION
I found this ROM on a Russian forum Elephone P7000 MIUI v8 6.12.8
I port it to Ulefone Be Touch 2. It's Stable.
It works very well.
Does not work: fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, the Home button does not wake up the phone.
The rest runs smoothly.
I would recommend, although it still requires refine.
Maybe someone could prepare some other patches?
Installation
Install MIUI 6.5.12 (https://www.needrom.com/download/miui-v7-v6-4-21/)
Boot 1 times first, restore Imei and Google Account,
Recovery TWRP install this rom without wipe.
Everything works fine.
add Loud Speaker with Uncle Tools , set loud speaker value 160.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Torch light working.
Compass working.
GPS working.
Root
Not working – fingerprint, home button.

This rom doesnt contains all languages.. Only english and chinese languages.
And this is a beta version, not stable.
I mean stable is the system was stable. Can long time to use….
no xposed?
Thanks for sharing this ROM. My Be-Touch2 is having the WiFi issue. The phone got disconnected from the wifi itself and then won't find my wifi. I had to turn off/on the wifi a couple of times in order to connect. It's really annoying. Does this get fixed in this ROM?
i guess thats was hardware issue…
How is battery life for this new rom? Is it easy to install it ? I am not very good at this.

After testing almost all available ROMs here, I decided to stick with this one because it feels to be the best. Still I'm not able to root the device yet, and this happens only with this ROM. Yesterday itself I tried another ROM – "Modulate Rom V2.16" and there is no problem rooting it (verified it with Root Check app).
In order to root this one I'm booting in recovery mode and I'm using "TWRP 3.0.2-1 Ulefone Be Touch 2". I'm installing the zip packet "SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip", and I'm getting the confirmations that it installed correctly, but "Root Check" says there's no root. Also, when I exit TWRP I get the message that SuperSu is not installed and I'm asked if I want to install it. I swipe in order to install it, I get the message "Done", but Root Check says there's no root again.
I have enabled "Developer options", "USB debugging" and "Fastboot mode", but this doesn't help.
Any suggestions?
And also… can we get a port of the new OS MIUI 7.12.28? It would be nice to be able to use it on our Ule's!
