BEFORE INSTALLING:

• Make sure you have a backup with your current ROM and IMEI (in case you lost it after flashing, so that you can easily restore it)

• I am not sure if this will work on all build numbers but it works for me (Gionee S5.5).

• FLASH IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR PHONES IF THIS WILL NOT TURN GOOD ON IT!!

  nvm, i recovered root by manually flashing SuperSu through recovery. Please mention it so that others will know what to do.
