DESCRIPTION
This is the official firmware for MPAI 809T octa-core version (MTK6592) released on 19/07/2014.
The android version is 4.4.2 KitKat (API level 19).
NOTE: (Important!!!)
[ MPAI on this new firmware have changed camera sensor driver to OV8865 but i have set default driver to OV8825. If somebody has the newest 809T with OV8865 can ask me firmware with OV8865 ]
MPAI 809T is distributed with two different version of LCD display:
1) TD0-HD0499K70425 ( if your display use this driver please download 20140719_e2719v92_hydy_hd_oppo_x425.rar )
2) TD0-HD0499K70137 ( if your display use this driver please download 20140719_e2719v92_hydy_hd_oppo_x137.rar )
Please be careful about which firmware you are going to install.
To check which LCD you have, just go inside factory menu then check inside informations or use "MTK droid tools".

rom works fine, but how to root it? and custom recoveries dont work, cant mount /tmp of this firmware
If you are looking to root your phone,
1. please download my software here: http://adf.ly/uK9Oe
2. extract it
3. run it (as administrator, if possible)
4. Plugin your phone ( make sure that usb debugging is enabled on your phone in Settings ==> Developer Options)
5. Click ROOT Button, it will take some time and the phone will automatically restart after process is complete

After installing rom, my camera HDR, multi angle, and auto scene are not selectable, I cannot chose them. I chose OV8865 , if I chose ov8825 then it says " app isn't installed" when i try running my camera.
ROM works fine, but I need the drivers for the camera, you can upload? plz

Hi. I bought the 809t octa core on DEC 2015 and installed a ROM older than the release date of your ROM. The main camera stopped working when I installed the ROM on this page https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....i-809t-mtk6592/. Does this mean that the ROM has a camera driver that won’t work with my phone?
