Firmware original including CWMRecovery. With complete confidence, you can use this rom to reset the parameters of your S700. Already inserted CWM Recovery.  You only have to unzip the downloaded file, and run the update with SPFTool wich you can download right here.

Both versions work perfectly well, with root permissions, etc.
Additional applications can be uninstalled using the application RomTools Box, for those who wish to use their preferred applications.
I’ve simplified the procedure, the same should be applied to the updating of the two versions.

- Root Access and CWM Recovery
- The firmware comes with 12.55Gb for phone’s internal memory , UNPARTITIONED, enabling high availability for reliable and stable operation.
- Applications with high battery consumption were eliminated.

For people like me, highly sensitive retina, I added frequently used applications (email-K9, calls and contacts exDialer, etc.) with “holo” background wich  make reading comfortable.  Also allow considerable energy savings .

Personal opinion:
After 12 days of use and many tests, I can confirm that it is an excellent phone:
- Its external look is very good, including flexible back cover for extra protection.
- Excellent work of the fingerprint sensor.
- Fast and reliable transmission via WiFi and data.
- The 3000 mAh battery provides a long time of use. Generally maintains the operation during 14-18 hours of combined use.
- Both Cams without being exceptional,  working very well.

About some overheating reports in other posts, I made a call for more than 20 minutes and the phone kept its normal temperature, no problems. Please check image.

INSTALLATION:
Necessary Requirements:
- Experience in upgrades.
- Perform a full backup of firmware and data in use.

Personally I have done many tests using the firmware that I modified. On each occasion the result was satisfactory.
I’ve also applied the update to the S700 phone from 5 neighbors and friends, with positive results without problems.

I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROBLEMS, caused by faulty installations.

- CWM Recovery
If it is not installed, you must use SpFlash Tool V5.1528 wich you can download here. Save and decompress on your PC / Lap.

You need to use your stock Rom or download it from Socr@te’s publication from here:

On your PC / Lap unzip the downloaded file stock rom, replaces the file recovery.img with the similar you download from my publication, (Ported by HANUMA50) and save the changes.

Make sure your PC have installed the appropriate drivers or download it from here.

With the phone off, without battery and disconnected from the PC, run Flash Tool, select the “Download Only” mode and only select the corresponding “recovery” box, being careful to uncheck all the others.

Run the process using the “Download” option (top left), connect your phone to the PC via USB cable without battery. Different color bars will appear at the bottom,  program will update your recovery.

Close program, cell disconnected from the PC and try restarting the phone in recovery mode, simultaneously pressing the left side button”Power” and “Volume Up”.

When you already have installed CWM Recovery, unzip the file you downloaded with rom 2015-0710-V2, saving in the SD card phone, inside the folder “ClockworkMod” / “backup”, the entire folder containing the upgrade. Please do not modify the name of the directory containing the files.

You should reboot into Recovery mode, and choose:

- Back/Restore option
- Advanced Restore option

Please, check image in post.

inside this option you will check all the files, EXCEPT “RESTORE DATA”, because this option will erase all your IMEI data.

- When files selected, use “START RESTORE” and your phone will be updated.

Completed the process, you must manually restart your phone, returning via the menu until you have available the “RESTORE PHONE” option. Run it and get ready to wait about 3 minutes for the restart and 4 or 5 more minutes, while system is updated.

Depending on what you have installed, it will be the time it takes the upgrade and can run two or more stages of updating applications. Do not worry, it’s normal.

If all you have done well, you will need to restart your  phone with the new firmware.

This is the process that was used to update the phone with my friends, here locally. Until a few moments ago, no problems have been reported.

Ambas versiones funcionan perfectamente bien, con permisos de root, etc.
Aplicaciones adicionales se pueden desinstalar utilizando RomTools Box, para aquellos que desean usar sus aplicaciones preferidas.

Opinión personal:
Después de 12 días de uso y de muchas pruebas, puedo confirmar que es un excelente teléfono:
- Su aspecto externo es muy bueno, incluyendo cubierta posterior flexible para una mayor protección.
- Excelente trabajo del sensor de huellas digitales.
- La transmisión rápida y confiable via WiFi y datos.
- La batería de 3000 mAh ofrece un largo tiempo de uso. Generalmente mantiene la operación durante 14-18 horas de uso combinado.
- Ambas cámaras sin ser excepcionales,realizan un buen trabajo.

Acerca de algunos informes de sobrecalentamiento en otros posts, realicé una llamada por más de 20 minutos y el teléfono seguía su temperatura normal, sin problemas. Por favor verifique la imágen subida.

INSTALACIÓN:
Requerimientos Necesarios:

- Realizar una copia de seguridad completa del firmware y datos en uso.

Personalmente he hecho muchas pruebas con el firmware que he modificado. En cada ocasión el resultado fue satisfactorio.
También he aplicado la actualización para el teléfono S700 de 5 vecinos y amigos, con resultados positivos y sin problemas.

- CWMRecovery

En el PC / Lap descomprimir el archivo stock rom descargado, sustituya el archivo recovery.img con el descargado desde este post, (Portado por HANUMA50) y guardar los cambios.

Asegúrese de que su PC tiene instalado los controladores adecuados o descargarlos desde aquí.

Con el teléfono apagado, sin batería y desconectado de la PC, ejecute SPFlashtool, seleccione el modo “Download Only” y sólo marque la casilla de “recovery” correspondiente, teniendo cuidado de desmarcar todas las demás.

Ejecutar el proceso mediante la opción “Download” (arriba a la izquierda), conecte el teléfono al PC mediante un cable USB sin necesidad de batería. Diferentes barras de color apareceran en la parte inferior, el programa actualizará su recuperación.

Cerrar programa, y con el celular desconectado de la PC  intente reiniciar el teléfono en modo Recovery, presionando simultáneamente los botónes de la izquierda “Power” y “Volume Up”.

Cuando ya ha instalado CWM Recovery, descomprimir el archivo descargado con rom 2015.V1 o 2015V2, guardándolo en tarjeta SD, dentro de la carpeta “ClockworkMod”/”backup”, toda la carpeta que contiene la actualización. Por favor, no modifique el nombre del directorio que contiene los archivos.

Usted debe reiniciar en modo de recuperación, y elija:

- Backup/Restore opción
- Advanced Restore, option

Como ayuda, puedes mirar la imagen que he subido.

Dentro de esta opción deberá seleccionar todos los archivos, EXCEPTO “Data Restore”, ya que esta opción borrará todos los datos de IMEI
Puede elegirlos todos, pero antes tenga la precaución de guardar los datos de los IMEI, a fin de que pueda restaurarlos posteriormente.

- Cuando haya seleecionado los archivos, utilice “Start Restore” y el proceso de actualización se iniciará, de la forma que se haya elegido.

Completado el proceso, debe reiniciar manualmente el teléfono, regresando al través del menú hasta que tenga disponible la opción “Reboot phone”. Ejecutarlo y prepárate para esperar unos 3 minutos para el reinicio y 4 o 5 minutos más, mientras que el sistema se actualiza.

Dependiendo de lo que tengas instalado, será el tiempo que tarde la actualización y se puede ejecutar dos o más etapas dentro de la actualización. No te preocupes, es normal.

Si todo lo has hecho bien, tu teléfono se reiniciará satisfactoriamente con el nuevo firmware.

Este es el proceso que se utiliza para actualizar el teléfono de mis amigos, aquí localmente. Hasta hace unos momentos, no se han reportado problemas.
