On first ROM yes was able to update Ramdisk
after flashing second rom switch off your phone then star may be this fix your problem .
If not then flash different rom because you successfully flash multirom but face second rom fault create problem may be problem with your current rom.

i have RR 5.8.3 Nougat on first rom
i was try with RR on second without flash ramdisk – everithyng work perfect.
If i want to flash second rom on a data storage mm then need to update ramdisk on first or not?

Data slot is correct location to flash second rom ..
Yoc can fash more than 2 rom in data slot .

I am using AICP ROM by G Sandeep as primary rom and MIUI 8 Marshmallow by Sandeep Sethi as secondary rom. Both running smoothly. Patch MIUI 8 in data slot and flash it using recovery 3.0.2.7.

My primary rom is RR 5.8.3 Nougat
a want to put secondary Aoium MarshMallow
when i try to update ramdisk it say error could update ramdisk, i set kernel.
Can i try to put on data 6.0 rom and make dualboot?

i set kernel on primary Nougat, but error on update ramdisk
but i try to start MM – it`s works
only don`t know how to flash xposed on second rom, and Aoium is rooted, but not have root when is second /on data storage/

You can also flash multirom created by dual boot patcher with twrp (use 3.1.1-0 posted by me and use ro.product.device=aio_otfp on primary rom) during flashing second rom which was created by dual boot patcher flash exposed and root at that time .

just dont get sim network on second rom
may be your second rom has some sim network bug because dual boot just flash more than 1 rom in your device .
Try flashing 3 rom if you learn dual boot but be careful if 3rd rom not good then it stuck on boot logo . So choose less bug rom for multiboot
