How to install the ROM
You have to use my Unoffical TWRP 3.5.1_9-0 (3.18.19) Recovery to flash your device later. The file in the attachment is zipped and valid for the TWRP Recovery (don't extract the rom zip!). Please backup NVRAM and IMEI with TWRP BEFORE flash! If you lose your MAC / IMEI after flash, you can restore it in 2 seconds!
First time installing the ROM
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System and Data -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Upgrade from earlier version
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Update to newer version with patch
Boot into TWRP -> Install Patch ZIP -> delete Dalvik, Cache-> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Bugs and how you can fix it
- to reduce flickering on apps (only few have this issue), go to: settings -> developer options -> animation duration scale -> animation off
- Video recording inverted color (workarround: any third party camera)

Is the ROM rooted?
No. You can install Magisk or SuperSu with TWRP
What about other languages?
You can choose your language as usual after first boot with the asisstent
Are the Google Play Service already installed in this ROM?
No. You have to install newest open pico gapps (ARM -> Android 7.1 -> Pico)
We'll get soon MIUI, IOS or Samsung TouchWiz as ROM?
No, No and No. All three ROMs exits but they are so buggy.
I dont will publish these ROMs. They are not ready as daily driver.

What is the different between source and optimized in changelog version?
source: build the custom rom directly new from source code
optimized: only changed some files / fixed bugs from latest rom

Stuck BOOTLOOP
I build ROMs for Cubot Note S and Cubot Rainbow. So i can use the 3.18.19 Kernel from Echo to build similar ROMs from source.
This LineageOS14.1 based on Kernel 3.18.19 which is based on Android 6.0. You need the TWRP 3.2.3-0 based on 3.18.19 and flash then this LineageOS14.1
You only take TWRP 3.18.35 for offical V19 (Android 7.1.2).
it does not work (bootloop) if you take twrp for nougat and flash custom rom based on marshmallow
So the correct steps:
Step 1: Download V15 offical ROM
Step 2: Flash V15 with SPFlash Tool and boot it once
Step 3: Flash TWRP 3.2.3-0 based on 3.18.19
Step 4: Go into TWRP Recovery
Step 5: Wipe "Dalvik, Cache, System and Data"
Step 6: install LineageOS14.1
Step 7: install OpenGapps (ARM -> Android 7.1.2 -> Pico)
Step 8: Restart into system normally

You need to flash Offical V15 (3.18.19) and then go for TWRP 3.2.3-0 for 3.18.19 which is linked on the description on top
I dont support CUBOT Echo with 3.18.35. All my roms are for 3.18.19

or can I install it after I have turned on and used the phone?
Go first for Rom and GAPPs
Boot it up once and then go into twrp again
You can choose between SuperSU or Magisk. Both are for root. I would prefer Magisk, its newer and have also Magisk Hide (hide su rights for some apps, banking apps for example)

I Hard bricked my
10" inch 4G phone tablet, i have used diffrent flash tools to flash the stock rom on to it.
The flash goes 100% ok, But when i start the tablet it says on the boot logo screen uninit failed.
i have tried to reflash in wiselinktool over and over again, the story end same uninit failed.
I am looking for any other custom rom that can be flashed by sp tool or wiselinktool to save my tablet.
if there is other flash method its fine as long as it has tutorial.
