03-Sep-2014-Vroot V1.73 for stock 4.4.2 Kitkat Unzip, install on Pc. Connect the phone via USB, run the program and follow the instructions in English.

It has been tested for several days without reporting problems.

Separately, I include the recovery.img file (big letters) ported by me from touch version of Carliv, which also works well.
Rom is installed via CWM, and it is recommended you perfomr a full backup of the rom you using at this time, as well your personal data.
-Save the Rom.zip file in the root of the SD card
-Run all cleaning steps: data, cache, etc.
-Select Install Update from SD
-Wait procedure conclude and restart the phone.
Please do not despair to restart, because the procedure uses about 2 minutes on the first run.

Ha sido probada por varios dias sin reporte de problemas.
Pero estare al pendiente para peticiones, que puedan estar dentro de mis recursos.
Por separado, incluyo el archivo recovery.img (letras grandes) portado por mi de la version Touch de Carliv, que tambien funciona bien.
La rom se instala via CWM, y se recomienda realizar un respaldo completo de la rom que se este utilizando al momento, asi como sus datos personales.
-Guardar el archivo.zip de la Rom en la raiz de la Tarjeta SD
-Ejecutar los pasos de limpieza: datos, cache, etc.
-Seleccionar "Instalar Update desde SD"
-Esperar que el procedimiento concluya y reiniciar el movil.
Por favor no se desesperen al reinicio, porque el procedimiento, utiliza aproximadamente 2 minutes en la primera ejecucion.

Si amigo mio. Original recien bajada de Baidu. Trae novedades como la aplicacion que permite bloquear las apps que te toman fotos, aspecto que muchos ignorabamos. Deeben usar spflashtool para actualizar. No he recibido correo nuevo. Saludos.

I installed 4.4.2 kitkat. But I have an access problem internezt. 3G is blocked. I noticed a problem with the APN. the page is blank, and you can not change the options as inexsitant.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Do you have performed a ‘clean install’.?
You need do so and firmware will work.
I have tested this rome and fast, smooth. No problems with wifi and for data use, you need to know info from your internet provider.

Amigo, seguido del nombre de la rom, se indica instalacion via spflashtool
Si te refieres a la rom kitkat stock 4.4.2, la instalacion debe realizarse via spflashtool.
Also had a problem with the 29-Aug stock kitkat. Installed with flashtools and eventually got the software on.
Rebooted and my IMEIs were both blank so no calls/texts possible.
Luckily had a backup so with a bit of hassle was able to rescue. Not good.
In all updates, it is necessary to perform a cleanup (data, cache, dalvik) to avoid traces of previous Os.
If you did not performed well, I advise to reinstall the firmware by following these recommendations.
The rom is original and you should change the language.
I have it installed and after making changes in language and country, everything works fine. These changes must be made within System \ build.prop and reboot.
Not forget that the file is not modified and is offered as obtained from Baidu.

All cleanup steps done and still had the problem of invalid Imei.
Been using android roms on various phones for years so know my way around.Baidu's rom obvioulsy has a problem somewhere as it cleared the NVRAM area of the phone hence no telephony.I'd advise anyone thinking of trying it to hold off for now until this is cleared up.As i said in last post,i was lucky and had a few working cwm backups to go to so could recover.
Did try the Carliv touch recovery img and it works very well so at least one good thing come out of this,
Not used any of the other roms like V2 so can't comment on those.
As I indicated earlier, is a stock firmware I got from Baidu. I did not do changes.
Personally I've reinstalled twice (as proof and confirmation) and I have not had reports of problems, same as all the other users who have installed. Without loss of imei's, no problems in the connection data.
I uploaded this file to the benefit of users who prefer the original firmware, odexad. Although I'm thinking to delete the file to prevent comments like this.
I will continue with the optimization of Rom to install via CWM.

If this is the stock rom, you can easily reinstall the IMEI.
must be *#*#08#*#*
Otherwise, you can reinstall the IMEI with MtkdroidTools253 once tsmartphone Roote.

Thanks for that tip,i didn't know you could do it that way.
Was going to root the stock rom using vroot and then use my backup from MtkDroid to replace imeis but to be honest i didn't bother as if that was the first problem i had what else could be wrong?
Glad other people have had no issues,might give it another go in a while after any other bugs have been ironed out.

I have no problem with Wifi. I have a 3G problem. I can not accede to the internet. Missing APN options. I even change the modem (version 4.2.2) without result.

Hi suricatoy, thanks a lot for the KitKat rom, works perfectly and solved an issue with Bluethooth that was present in JB. The only issue i Found is that I was unable to root it. Tried a lot even with Read Back method from SPFT and MT Droid tools. Maybe you could help us.

u could use vroot. i did it with succes.the u can use mtkdroid tools
Have some problems to root it, but like said "idiotprayer",. Vroot is one good option.
