DESCRIPTION
Rom ported from MIUI V5 – 4.11.28 for canvas Knight A350
Used K1s SuPeR AOSP for base and stable rom
This is a my first attempt to port miui for 4.2.2 for K1S, so give your feedback knowing that i'm not an expert and not hard tested because have limited time.

STEP 1 : BACKUP
TO BE MORE SAFE, BACKUP YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
Before installing the Rom you need to make a backup of your device in case something goes wrong. Do it with MTKDroidTools flashable with FlashTool.
Those who have already installed the recovery CW they can make a second directly from recovery.
For the first, here is a guide to the procedure of backup, for the latest version of MTKDroidTools and drivers necessary for the proper use of the application Backup with MtkDroidTool.
Install K1S Super AOSP
Beafore anything install https://www.needrom.com/download/k1s-super-aosp/
Newman K1S MIUIv5 4.11.28
Download the custom ROM FILE.ZIP and copy to an external SD card root directory
ENTER CWM RECOVERY :
Power off the phone, then do the following:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
IN CWM RECOVERY perform a FULL WIPE –> Factory reset, Cache, ADVANCED –> Dalvik Cache
Return to recovery main interface and Install zip from sdcard:
- Select your ROM FILE.ZIP –> It will launch my installation procedure
- At the end Reboot System – Patience required – first boot takes a while

I don't even care much if it works or not, the fact that someone bothered to port MIUI to K1S is all that matters! Downloading now, will comment on it after tested.

Working nicely so far, a bunch of new settings to deal with for those like me that aren't used to MIUI.
Installation was quick and simple, probably because I was already running Super AOSP.
By the way, if I want to go back to Super AOSP, I just have to install the zip again, right?
if you have a recovery backup you can simple restore it or install super aosp with full wipe
andr2..I havent installed super aosp in my k1s.. after trying the 4.4.2 version that wouldnt let sound work, i reinstalled stock rom 4.2.2, If I want to try your MIUI rom, do I have to install aosp first, is it a necessity? ,Thank you for your efforts.
you need to install CWM STOCK ROM 1.0 EBR-7.0 GB.rar to get 4.2.2 working only
For those wondering about the sound being too low (which I noticed, coming from super aosp, which has excellent sound!), the VIPER app, included in this rom, allows you to increase the gain, therefore increasing the volume.
The internet connection seems faulty at times, at least while browsing with the default browser, I'm still trying to figure it out (haven't bothered to install chrome or any other gapps, miui is too cute xD).
Sound is really very low, even after VIPER install. Anybody has a solution?

The preinstalled VIPER did wonders for me. Make sure you enabled it for the speaker (first checkbox, on the top), then switch to the intermediate or expert UI (instead of the beginner one you're presented with at first), and increase the gain. Gain will be at 0db, choose 4.6 (not -4.6, or it'll be inaudible).
I switched mine to portuguese, and it still shows most things in english
I'm rather pleased either way xD
