Installation

Install or update to latest TWRP

Download the latest files from Mega

(Optional) Download Open GApps and/or Magisk

Move all downloaded files to your phone (if you download them on your PC)

Reboot to TWRP

(Recommended, but optional) Create a backup of data and system

If you are new to Android O, wipe Dalvik, Data, System and Cache

Flash the Android O-build for your device-model

If you are on Edge, you have to flash the kernel with the model-name zerolte(xx, skt, …) (Kernel-*-zerolte(xx, skt, …)-*.img)

(Optional) Magisk or any other Root-Method

Reboot

Enjoy, report bugs!

What's working?

Please remember that Oreo is still a very new release of Android and may contain bugs which are probably going to be fixed in some weeks or even days by the LineageOS-team or even Google itself

Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)

WiFi

Bluetooth

NFC

Fingerprint

Camera

2D/3D-graphics + Vulkan

And probably everything not listed in the bug-list or related to one of these issues

Bugs and Problems…

Hardware-Codecs are not working, videos with high resolutions (from about 1080p+) may start to lag

Some videos with specific codecs can't be placed, fixing the previous bug should fix that one too

Also connected to the HW-Codec Bug, videos can be recorded with Stock Camera-App, but not played with stock-video players (Only VLC is known to properly play those videos)

GPS in "Device only"-mode does not work properly on some apps

Random freezes, problem and source still not really known

If a app doesn't work, send a link to this app, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat

If a app crashed, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat

If there's another bug/problem/crash, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat

For any other thing, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat

or at our GitHub-bugtracker (preferred way)

Supported Devices

SM-G920F: Only permanently and completely supported device, because we don't own another one

Any other SM-G92[0/5]-device: May be supported, but I cant guarantee it. Please don’t keep asking why we don’t support your model, it’s that simple: We don’t own it, so how can we support it? Right, we can’t. You can help us to fix issues, but we need a full set of logcats default ([adb] logcat -d) and radio ([adb] logcat -d -b radio)+ the kernel-log (/dev/kmsg). You may use different apps, but without those three files, we can't do much…

SM-G928x: Not supported, will probably never be
