those who can't install directly via inbuilt recovery, try to install using TWRP
Steps:
1}Click on the build nummber in the about phone section in setting in your phone for 7 times to enable developer options.
2}Then turn on the developer option and usb debugging option in it.
3}Click the Nubia Z9 Mini Recovery Tool V4.0.exe and install usb driver by pressing 1.
4} After that u can use either of the recovery tool or twrp tool given to install the recovery just by pressing the required number and then connecting the phone to the computer.(it will take less than 3mins to install)

if u r presently using nubia official rom then go to about phones and software updates > Local update > recovery , then select the rom
else go to custom recovery and then flash the rom
