How to root it?

It' s a simple zip file you should flash it via recovery.
Xposed is working.
Great rom but I don't like these icons can anybody change it.
First custom ROM's based on this ROM will be here (on Needrom) after this week, maybe a bit later. Stock android icons is comming.

Firmware runs great, but the standard apps have themed icons (see screenshots) that you can't get rid of. And GravityBox doesn't work too well with this, you can't properly change the quick setting tiles, for example.
Oh, and SuperSU (v2.01) doesn't work properly with this firmware. It doesn't mount the /storage/sdcard directories for the root account. Kinguser does work.

Is it possible to flash using CWM ? I use Linux on my computer so SP Flashtool does not work. Thanks.
Try to install virtual box and virtual box guest additions. When install windows xp in your virtual machine and use SP Flashtool under linux. If you have Ubuntu-based distro, I can help you with setting up Flashtool, but only if you donate me 2$.
