madOS is based on pure A.O.S.P. with many additional customizations and MediaTek support.

Installation Instructions:
Download ROM from M.A.D. Facebook
OR via xda DevDB
Download Gapps from OpenGapps
(choose Arm64 and Android 7.0 / Android 7.1 -Depending on the rom build you downloaded)
NOTE: Banks Gapps are reported to also work alright.
NOTE 2: If you have issues with OpenGapps / Banks , as an alternative try our modded OpenGapps package, and follow the instructions on FAQ.
No more need to use our Mod Gapps package
Boot to recovery
Wipe data if you are not coming from AOSP N already
Install rom
Reboot to recovery again, and Flash your desire Gapps

How set root access?
Although, I appreciate the effort to produce this ROM, I would not reccommend it for the following reasons:
1) The system crashes a few times a day, and the following have to restart: Wifi, Bluetooth, mobile phone reception. I use all of the above frequently, therefore the impact for me is frustrating.
2) Camera crashes. Also, camera sometimes does not record with sound, or the video file it produces is found later to be corrupt, therefore it is lost.
