Though the software can not be updated to Android 7 through OTA, it can be flashed by computer.
the only way to update to android 7 for K6000 Pro is to flash on computer.
Please backup all your data first, then download the following files to your computer. there are process to indicate you how to flash the software on the tool.
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe Our SP_Flash_Tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6753_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
The battery drains faster no doubt (fz_v24), but that doesn’t mean it’s that bad. For now, I still have every reason to keep the ROM running. Flashed successfully (with SP flash tool) and no issues whatsoever!
Still 7-7.5h SOT is bad for a 6000mah battery (which is in fact 5500mah real capacity). On 32bit Android 6.0 the phone can reach 9h or more SOT. In the end it’s nice we have a wide range of ROMs so everyone can use a rom he wants.
helllo, on the v16 32 bytes, when i recieve a head up, the screen turn black until the head up miss, what can i do?
rauloo, if a "head up" = notification, try to configure it in "Settings > Sound & notification" and take a look if the launcher has access to them
i try but still happen the same, when i recieve a head up, wherever i stay, the screen turns black for a few seconds

I had some problems with my k6000 pro!
i think the version v24 is consuming a lot of battery, my smartphone just have 8 hours of battery. Did someone downgraded this version, to one with a bettr battery use?

Read above. For better battery you can downgrade to v16 32bit Android 6.0. 1-1.5h SOT more on average.

My phone is root, I can not install the V24, how should I do?
Something failed with the old system. dunno which version. but bluetooth was active while turned off in the menues. it consumed alot and made it possible for someone to alter the security code for my system. so when i stuck my finger on the print reader, it asked for my password and kept saying mine was wrong and thus phone became kindof bricked. It brought me here.
Version 24 did not work for me. system did not recognise simcard.
V16 to the rescue. I'm a happy MTK user
