DESCRIPTION

1.    Start the Flash_Tool (Tools folder) application, select the DA_SWSEC.bin file as Download Agent. (this file is located in the directory of upgrade tool)

2.    Click the Scatter-loading (Firmware folder) button, Select the corresponding scatter file. The scatter file is located at the corresponding software’s directory.

3.    After select the file, there will be the following interface.

4.    Change the selection “Download Only” to “Firmware Upgrade”

5.    Click “Download” button.

6.    Make sure the device is powered off than connect the device to PC through USB cable.

7.    The device will recognized as MT65xx Preloader.

8.    Run Install.bat file from Drivers directory. When the drivers are installed disconnect and connect again the device to PC.

9.    The device will be recognized as MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM and upgrading procedure will started automatically.
