To deactivate battery percentage duplicate go to:
Settings> Power Management> Status bar information(untick)
Instructions:
-Download the ROM zip and Place it in Your SDCard
-Goto your Recovery Mode (CWM)
Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache, Data/Factory Reset
-Install the Zip and READ EVERYTHING carefully and Follow Instructions
-1st Boot Might take upto 3 Minutes So don't panic
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

I'm not sure there will be a new version if daserver's post on 24 July is true.
daserver, are you the updater/publisher of this ROM? You seem to be the only developer working on it recently and it would be a great shame you gave it up. Take that phone back from your son immediately!
there is a new version of it but it needs porting there is a Facebook group where the devs post about the ROM its called purexperia
I've just found out that the front 'selfie' camera is upside down. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Mine is upside down too; can't understand why the front camera is ok for some people, I did try to modify many pertinent settings in /system/build.prop but nothing worked, probably this rotation/flipping is hard-wired in some library.
hello iv just tryed the camera and it works fine its not upside down for me and I was using the stock camera app that was with the ROM
also to add onto that with the new update that is out it will be the last one as well the dev no longer wants to as his phone broke so he’s doing other phone models now (check Facebook to see info about the ROM search purexperia )
On my N9599T (MTK 6589) works perfectly.

Just can't get this ROM to install on my Star N9599T MTK6589 2GB.
I did the following to the rooted phone:
- Copied the zip to the root directory of the phone's internal storage
- Booted into recovery mode
- Did a wipe data/factory reset
- Did a wipe cache partition
- Applied update from sdcard, selected N9599T_Xperia_Z2_060614.zip
The installation starts but fails after a few seconds!!
Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
I'd try redownloading the zip file again.
Try extracting/opening it on your PC to ensure that it's not corrupt.
I got it working!!!
The problem was that I was using the stock recovery.
I loaded CWM with MKT Droid and tried again – everything went smoothly

After getting it working I did notice the front camera displays the image upside down.
Has anyone got a fix for this yet?
Ahhh so it's not just me then!
I tried doing a complete reflash of the original ROMS, but now have completely lost the use of the front camera! It has disappeared from all ROMS I try to load, using either TWRM recovery or flasing images using the Flash Tool. Does anyone have a backup of the ROM for a 1Gb that came with their phone?
