DESCRIPTION
QILIVE Q5 aka. Q4S6IN4G
=======================
6" 4G low-cost smartphone sold in Auchan hypermarkets.
This is a flashable set of files obtained by dumping the smartphone using SP Flash Tool
IT'S NOT AN OFFICIAL FIRMWARE (it's nowhere to be found)
IT'S UNTESTED (apart from flashing system.img alone) so use only on a bricked device. You've been warned.
IT'S NOT ROOTED.
Flash using SP Flash Tool.
The scatter file has the preloader disabled for flashing on purpose because doing an
exact dump of the preloader isn't easy so I can't be 100% sure this one is correct.
If that's the only way to revive a bricked device and you *do* want to give it a try,
open MT6735M_Android_scatter.txt in a text editor (e.g. Notepad) and change a line
in this section:
- partition_index: SYS0
partition_name: preloader
file_name: preloader_elink8735m_3tb_l.bin
is_download: false
type: SV5_BL_BIN
linear_start_addr: 0×0
physical_start_addr: 0×0
partition_size: 0×40000
region: EMMC_BOOT_1
storage: HW_STORAGE_EMMC
boundary_check: true
is_reserved: false
operation_type: BOOTLOADERS
reserve: 0×00
Change the "is_download" line to:
is_download: true
Last but important note:
This device came with pre-installed adware in an application appearing
as IMEMess in the app list, as com.google.upService in "pm list packages" output
and whose APK file was /system/priv-app/Oashis/Oashis.apk
It has been deleted from the system image included here.
The system image is otherwise unchanged.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Member Info
merci pour cette rom j'ai flash system.img fonctionne bien
For anyone arriving here because of the mention of the IMEMESS virus, slight correction to this helpful message it's
com.android.upServices
that you need to remove not com.
google.upServices.Instructions for removal are here:
https://forums.malwarebytes.co.....ions-for-adups/
and the relative command you need to run in developer mode are:
adb shell pm uninstall -k –user 0 com.android.upServices
The tablet I found this virus on was a NeuTab, and it was also infected at system level with a similar virus, UpgradeSys. Same removal instructions:
adb shell pm uninstall -k –user 0 com.fw.upgrade
