INSTALLATION:
We are going to explain two ways to install it
Using SP Flash Tools:
Simply download and extract attachment for SPFT. Open SP flash Tools and load scatter that is inside extracted file. Only recovery wiil be marked. Press download only and wait a few seconds, then pull off battery of your Elephone P8 and connect to your PC with USB. Wait again and a green Symbol will appear in the PC screen. It's done, simply put battery again in your device and press power and vol up during 3-4 seconds. If there is any problem during the operation, use the alternative scatter that I've downloaded
Using custom recovery:
Download attachement for recovery CWM and put it in your sdcard. Reboot your device into recovery and install zip as usual

Without complete sources, the only way to bring lollipop to our P8's is waiting that elephone make a Stock 5.0 ROM or that lollipop arrives to any mediatek mt6592 device and port it. If any of this happens, make sure that we will work hard to make a good custom rom

I failed to perform recovery through SPFT, always fail and this is written as "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded", why is this? I use win8 64 and Elephone from the beginning has been 4.4.2.

You must use the other scatter I uploaded. It's called "alternative scatter"

thank you for your work, but i cant instal the custom recovery… 
if i use SPT, it wont do nothing after selecting the scatter and 'download' (with both scatter files).
If i use the normal recovery to apply the update 'Philz_recovery_P8_cwm.zip', it fails with "Installattion aborted"…
i even tryed applying using 'update from adb' and sideloa the zip file, but had the same error.
Would love to try this ROM, but i'm stuck… what can i be doing wrong?

I had the same issue, turns out I was missing the correct drivers (so Windows did not properly connect to the Android phone).
Download this driver pack and install them, this worked for me:

(I learnt from these drivers from http://www.theandroidhow.com/2.....h-sp-flash.html as I wanted to backup my own ROM before messing with the ROMs here)

hi, i cant rebot it in recovery, and when i try instal cwm with sp flashtool it say pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded

I look for the firmware TECA T92 Someone would tell me or the FINDto be honest every 4.4 roms with kernel 3.4.67 are shit !!! i have tryed everything and every had any issue !! and one strange thing in every 4.4 roms -internet connection by wi-fi is stopping in a few minutes after connection !!!! no any problem with 4.2 rom !!!! thank you no anymore !!!
