Maybe your Recovery mount the internal and external space, try to mount and unmount these and after try to install it again.
Using i.e. TWRP you must copy this ROM zip file on external SD card, after that clear/wipe all these spaces: System, Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, Internal Storage. Next step – reboot phone to TWRP. Now you can install ROM from zip using TWRP. If you will have the same problem try to wipe all these spaces antother time and reboot phone.

Is it gonna take OTA updates in the future????
The stability is a little problematic. Sometimes phone break 2G/3G connection without any information. Solution for that is rebooting phone or switch on airplane mode and after that switch off airplane mode – connection will be established another time. Sometimes phone reboot itself with no any cause. Booting is very long – 2-3 minutes. GPS of course does not working. And the most important thing – echo in your interlocutor.
It is very good starting point to make good system based on Android 6.0.1 – but for normal use system based on Android 4.4.2 is much stable and much better.
Tested it today. I confirm almost everthing works (did not test GPS). Both SIM cards work. The only problems I found are
- Random drops in network connectivity (3G).
- Calling has echo in a way that it is totally unusable (only tested through embedded mic).
- Bluetooth has sometimes strange behaviour (cannot find devices or pair). But most of the time is Ok

After 2 days use, I faced the same problems as patsos345.
My BT, the fisrt time is paired quickly, but after cannot paired. After mobile restart, problem solved.
About echo, my communations just fine from device, even BT.
GPS working as AGPS. Only gps, always search, but I had this problem in the past.
Bluetooth dont working, my device see other device, but cant send files
NFC Payments dont working
I think that nfc payments not working to most chinese phones.
are everyone having problems with echo ?
