DESCRIPTION
Resurrection Remix MM for MT6582 is an aftermarket ROM based on CyanogenMod 13/Marshmallow with lots of customization and at the same time packing a punch of performance. This ROM was compiled by Ajit Guraya from source and ported by Admin2.
USSD, Calls, Camera, Video Recording, SMS, Bluetooth and other needed features are working in this ROM and it can be used as a daily driver.
Notes :
1) My only request is that do not at any cost forget to give proper credits. All credits are mentioned below
2) It only takes a few minutes to steal the ROM but it will take you months to request the developers to start working on development again. Many devs stopped working and sharing their codes just because of kanging and I do not want that to happen again.
3) CM 13 could have become more stable till now if it weren’t for kangers who forced the devs to stop their work.

Use these steps for flashing:—
1.make sure you’re phone’s rooted. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hexamob.howtoroot&hl=en
2.backup recovery &kernel https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
3.flash twrp recovery for gionee m2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gionee-m2/general/custom-twrp-2-8-5-touch-recovery-gionee-t3150785
4. take a nandroid backup via TWRP
5.wipe data &cache first (this is a must)
6.flash the downloaded zip file. (( tip: make a folder named 1a in sd card, keep the zip file in there in order to access it quickly while flashing))
7.wait 3-5 mins. if more than 6 minute then it’s bootloop or soft brick switch the phone off remove battery wait 5 minutes, start phone by volume up +power button(enter recovery)
wipe cache &data try flashing again.
or restore backup
8.Flash GAPPS directly after flashing the ROM
- Reboot
- After booting, Reboot your device to Recovery Mode
- Flash SuperSU
- Reboot
so much customization and ease of use don’t get lost in there!:)

Oh it's great that you are trying to solve bugs of marshmallow 6.0 roms for Gionee M2 like vpn has been fixed from previous update but auto rotation bug is very big problem so please solve it.
I’m fed up, I’ve tried so many things but still can’t fix that orientation bug, no matter I will consistently search for new options to try out

hey have a look here, maybe you can fix that from here because this ROM says it don't have orientation bug.

I haven't worked with this particular rom but have tried other aosp , aokp roms which are known to be most bugless , and they couldn't fix that orientation problem, so the conclusion is m2 hardware/sensor is not compatible with 6.0.1
8gb user here, my storage is now only 4gb.
can you guys point me to right directions on how to fix that

it can be fixed but I highly suggest not doing anything about it, marshmallow is installed on inernal memory rather than phone OS storage,
it's been done so that you can install more apps in your phone without the need to format SD card as internal

So this means that now my 8 GB eMMC chip is devided like 6 GB for OS+Apps and 2GB for me to use as Storage.
if that's the senerio. i don't mind keeping it like this and i alwas wnated that to happen. so thanks for that.
i tought it has only used 2GB for OS+apps and 2GB for Storage. once i fleshed a ROM that caused that senerio becuase that ROM was 4GB and my phone is 8GB model.
auto-rotation is working with that app so this is perfect.

so i am 8GB user and after this ROM my 4GB was left unmounted and i did not wanted to format my SD cards as internal so i changed the /data partiton from 2GB to 4GB now i have only 2GB as unmounted and 4GB as /data partiton
donwload my files and see step.txt for steps to install it.
if you try to install directely it without following step from step.txt you will be left with a bootloop
and as alwas don't come crying if something goes wrong.

if you want to install a new OS/ROM the you have to mannualy format your /data aka /dev/block/mmcblk0p9

i installed this rom in my gione m2(8gb) phone but now it shows only 4gb internal memory plzz help me out

What all to wipe ? not full only cache and data in advanced format?
