The ROM has been taken from 4pda.ru
Resurrection Remix 5.8.3 is an Android 7.1.1 ROM
Kernel : 3.10.103
You need to flash the Magiskv12 zip and SR3 SuperSU zip to obtain root permissions (after you flash the rom)
What's working-
- Everything except autofocus and maybe video recording
What's not working-
- Autofocus
- (Comment if you find one)
Download the Gapps from www.opengapps.org
and flash respective boot revisions if you have any issue the the Camera or Auto Rotation
— boot rev 1- Fix autorotation
— boot rev 2- Fix front cam and autorotation
— boot rev 3- Fix autorotation (flash this only if the front cam is working from the first boot itself)
If the camera app force closes, reboot your phone a few times and it will start working again
I've updated the screenshots… I'm using the Microsoft Arrow Launcher

This ROM is over all amazing …
i found some bugs or i dunno if this is a bug.
…double tap to sleep or lock is not working
…double tap to wake is not also working
…battery drains fast. i did all the possible way to alteast put my battery life into maximum and longer.
…when connecting to vpn . and it is connected its showing in the notif. area , only the vpn icon showing in the status bar
… when turning on data connection and connecting to WiFi there is a little "x" in the signal icon
…and in settings… and swiping from left to right to show the navigation…the "Home Setting" is place behind the status bar. so it cant be read directly.
i made this because for better development soon. i love this RR . Please release new build very soon.
I think this is all i have obeserve.
………. lastly is our device (lenovo a536 ) can possible have OREO rom? even custom?
Thanks for the bug report…. Maybe they will be fixed in future…
But, Lenovo A536 doesn't support double tap wake feature, as it doesn't have the hardware for it
And the "X" above the signal icon is the feature of Nougat itself… you can remove it from the RR Config
— I think Oreo ROMs will need a new version of kernel i.e. greater than 3.10.103… So for porting an oreo rom… we need to wait for someone to port the new kernel first for A536
Nice and smooth rom, but battery is draining fast, camera drivers are shit. And why is the sdcard mounted at /mnt/media_rw?

sim card not detected and engineering mode is gone, it wasnt installed
this ROM was not built for Mediatek devices… so it doesn't have and engineering mode…
Flash this ROM first https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....eage-os-14-1-3/
and then flash the RR… it may solve your SIM issue

It you are using TWRP 3.0 and up… go to install… click on Install Image… then select the boot rev, that you want to flash… then select the boot partition and finally slide to flash it

After the first boot, trying to set up account: I cannot connect to hidden wifi network (even when I explicitly give the SSID, PSK).
Mobil internet.works neither.

Thanks, but I tried both and I had the same issue (cannot setup hidden wifi and no mobil internet).
Does this ROM support Themes?
