I’m running V5 and can’t complain. Is there much improvement in V9.
1) Can I dirty flash over V5?
2) How can I get same launcher as like the one in V5.

1. You can flash rom V9 from rom V5 without any problem.
2. Open rom V5, follow this site system/priv-app, you can take file laucher3.apk. Copy it on sdcard. After flashing rom V9, you install this file. You will have CM11 launcher.
The only thing that bothers me about this phone is that the screen has wrong gamma settings. All the colours are washed out. Does anybody know if anything can be done about that? The colours on my old w8s mere more vivid.
i have the same issue, maybe im too spoiled but the colors looks awful.. all the pictures i take seems over-exposed. even when they're not (when i look at them at normal screen – ipad, or PC monitor)…. this is the only thing i hate about this phone
i try to install gravitybox but on launch keeps saying gravitybox system stop.do u know what went wrong?and one other other im try to change status bar icons throught xposed statusbar mod but nothing change.
Fist of all, you need to install exposed. Open xpose, downloading update. Than, make permission for gravitybox. Reboot system and than, open gravitybox.

right now im on V5. how should i upgrade to V9 without loosing all the settings and apps ?? should i just install the rom from recovery and overwrite the existing one ??

You flash V9 from V5, don’t wipe. If you wipe, you will lose all apps.
black screen as well had to go back to v8 which works perfectly.
I had repaired this rom. Download again, rom will work perfectly!

I have upgraded from V8 to V9 with no problem.
Flashed V9. Brilliant, thanks again for ROM. However tried to copy old launcher3.apk and after reboot phone has error saying Trebuchet failed and couldn’t load phone. How else can I get that launcher to work with V9?
Install launcher trebuchet normally. Than, you open this apk and choose it.
