    Hi.

Your zip file has a recovery img file called stockrecovery.img. Is that the twrp recovery or the actual original stock recovery for the oukitel k10000 pro???

Please answer as soon as possible.  Thank you.

inside archive you can find stockrecovery.img that is stock and twrprecovery.img that is twrp to flash if you need twrp.

Scatter file is already present in the package.

Hi. It is fine now. I redownloaded the file and this time it is in there.

Perhaps it is a stupid question …

It is written that this is the ROOT_TWRP_SU for the OUKITEL K10000 Pro V1.0 20170531.

    If

    a) my phone sports the V6 version and

    b) I flash the TWRPrecovery.img found inside K10000ProRoot.zip,

will the latter instance fail because

    c) it was designed for the V1 and

    d) the error message is something like: "STATUS_SEC_IMGHDR_TYPE_MISMATCH"?

    Thank you.

We should wait for a new TWRP recovery . or any solution for this.

So, in your opinion, I can not root my phone using the TWRP recovery image designed for the V1 because my phone has the V6, right?

I initially rooted my K10000 Pro with the original version that I found with the phone.

The problem is that either because I did something without realizing it or for other undisclosed reasons, some apps failed to start, that is they start and then they were aborted. Some of them were "trivial" as the "sms app" or dictionaries (for instance, "Livio offline English dictionary"). So, I tried to delete them and re-install. In some instances, re-installing was successful, in other cases it failed again. Thus I decided to restart the phone to see whether a reboot could wipe out some issues with them. Instead, it loopbooted to TWRP and there was no way to avoid it. I tried everything (I even brought the phone in Red state and once I hard-bricked it). Then I managed to solve the mass by installing the V6. For the moment, I would not like to go back to V1 and that is why I tried to root it in V6. But if nothing changes in the next few weeks, I will revert back to V1.

      Thank you.

This TWRP does not work with the new V12 rom. Any chance to get a working TWRP for V12?

I reverted to V1 and installed the recovery. Now, my K10000 Pro is rooted. However, it is a pity that I could not root the phone with the V6. I must study quite a lot to learn how to make a TWRP by myself.
