Shouldn’t it be possible to optimize this rom, now that the official nougat is released from oukitel?
Not really. The ROM is based on Marshmallow kernel. The drivers in the official Android 7 aren’t the same as the ones in the RR ROM. Maybe from subsequent builds, if might be possible. I’ve tried, it’s just not working. Either it is the same, or bootloops.

Thanks, it's a great rom, although I am getting camera errors like couldn't connect to camera which mean I have to restart the phone, I don't know if there's a way to fix this, it looks like a fairly common bug in CM.
If anyone wants to get google assistant working, reflash gapps, and then add ro.opa.eligible_device=1
Whoops, I posted that comment on the wrong rom page, but I'm now using this as my normal rom and I have no issues, apart from the internal storage issue. Is there a way to make it work?

I ported it to my mt6753 device and all seems to work except internal storage! I see a guide up there to fix it!

i have currently the same problem

The rom works great except for tethering. The issue is that netd command just freezes and does nothing no matter what. probz some porting issue.
