flash file cwm (bootimg & recovery) on sp_flash, power on your phone and go to cwm,connect your phone to PC and open mtkdroid..check your lcd driver ic

gan yg 540×960 ada gak gan? soalnya habis flash rom ini klo masuk cwm displaynya kebalik, jadi harus muter hp dulu…trus tombol back sama touch screen bagian bawah gak bisa fungsi.

  cwm kebalik bukan masalah,,kcuali klo tampilan menu jg kebalik, itu yg hrs ente edit file build.prop
  resol 540×960 silahkan cek di dashboard ane..udh ada keterangannya smua..tinggal samain aja ama driver lcd ente

mungkin apa karena rom ini buat 4,7 inch? soalnya s4 ane 5inch???

eh gan klo difactory mode terdeteksi mt6589 tetapi pake mtkdroid kedetek 6572 trus bongkar hp n liatin chipset nya tertulis mediatek 6572…nah tuh berarti factory mode gak bisa dijadiin patokan atau gimana?

Not sure, f it's the best place to ask for help, but I haven't found any better one.

I've bought my daughter a phone from China, it's her birthday soon. Phone was delivered and it appears that it cannot connect to my local network. It

Phone is a clone of Galaxy4 i9500, with MT6572 chip and 480 x 854 resolution. It's not rooted and here's what MTKDroid shows when it's coonnected:

 When i inserted a sim card, it's recognized correctly, it finds the correct network, but when told to connect to that network - the phone does not want to register on the network - it writes "can't connect to this network right now...". I've tried all i could think of (2g and 3G preferred, etc), but nothing helps.

Have you seen this problem before? Is there any tool or application that I can use to change the settings of modem and make it work with my network operator?

Please, advise on how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

Note: they rent equipment from O2 network and many phones detect their network as "in roaming"

Any helpp oon how to resolve it would be much appreciiated.

P.S.: Any suggestions on how to root that phone will be very welcome as well (I'm afraid to flash this particular rom before I check that it's compatible with my LCD driver)

  70% of problems are solved
  
  SIM card just needed to be activated with a network provider.
  
  The only open questions are:
  
  1. how do I root it?
  
  2. will this ROM be suitable for my phone? Is it better than the one I'm using now?

Attempt to root from MTK Droid Tools gave this:

  sama gan udah sukses flashing n nemu rom yg baru pertama kali berhasil aq gunakan flashing dan akhirnya bisa booting, juga keluar suara samsulnya tapi lcd blank putih.
  
  trus aq coba tekan tombol vol up+power dan aq buka mtk droid hasilnya sperti ini di mtk droid:
  
  dan klo aq perhatiin di layar pas nunggu mtkdroid detect hhq, dari sekitar layar di samping keliling tepinya lama2 menghitam mengelilingi pwarna putih sampai tinggal setitik trus layar mati.
  
  dan klo aq cabut batrai n hidupin lagi blank warna putihnya penuh lagi.
  
  mhn pencerahan mastah. dan aq berharap sang mastah domisili di surabaya agar bisa lgsung aq samperin ^_^ pliss
