Hi! My phone is Star N9500. And when I want update it to 4.2.2, it bricked.
Erorr is:
BROM ERROR: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)

I rescue my phone.
- i downloaded from this site firmware for Star S5 with the name Root_DelChina_MP_mt89_v9_c05_pulid_jb2_20130321-160914_PC
- i used SPflash tool v3.1304.0.119
- Phone with no battery , disconected.
- start flash tool, select scatter file srom s5 rom directory
- i clicked “dowload”
- I connected the phone
- flash tool did something, and in ca 3-5 second i got warnint that is better to clikc “Firmware update” so i cliked this firmware update
- disconect phone from USB , and connect it agani
- flash tool started to flash the phone !!!! (no error DRAM_FAIL!!!)
- everything went ok, flash completed.
I tried to run the phone, but screen just turned on back light and of and on …
So… i tried new flash with correct rom for N9500 – downloaded here with date 2013-04-19, and process started!!! no error, finished. Disconnect the phone, put the battery on, i put the phone to the charger (i was not sure how is battery) and luckily i have working phone.
Thanx to SoCr@Te for ROM – this one works !!
