   Good, stable rom, but camera isn't optimized enough and makes worst pictures than official 4.1…I hope ca camera quality will be fixed soon in some 4.2 version.

   I’ve succesfully flashed this rom to my Star S7589 4G version. So far i encountered no problem.

   Anyway, I’ve seen this similar smartphone sold in malaysia with “Samsung Galaxy Note 2 version Jelly Bean”, complete with S Note apps. I’ve tried to ask the seller what rom they have been using but they only replied “its from factory, we don’t know anything”.

   Can anyone tell me where i can find Rom for Star S7589 that looks like Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Jelly Bean? Thanks.

     Yes, im searching for it too… do u have problem with 3G signal (celcom)? im lucky enough to get EDGE only. TQ

   Sorry, root access is only for app possible.
   Adb remount does not work.
   Write access to /system/etc is unable so it is not possible to fix GPS.
   GMail update failed. Unable to write to memory.
   Local language support of keyboard is not implemented.
   Summary: Show stopper!

   I have problem with flashing or rooting the phone.

   When I try rooting it with mtk droid tools,
   It ask me to press the restore button,
   I press it and nothing happens, it just keeps on going.

   Tried also to flash this (or any) custom Rom with sp flash tool,
   Always get an error message (8200 or something like this).

   Can anyone help?

   Cannot mount read/write permission to /system by every ways. So there is no way to change the system files.  Anybody fix it ?

   PLEASE HELP…. I jus recently got the new star s7589 16gb ROM but I’m having several issues with the ROM. Seller said that it was because the ROM I’m using is for the 4gb version and that they’re working in the 16gb version and that Ina 1 week they would have it.

   Does this Rom work for my version of s7589 or does anyone have a proper rom?
