DESCRIPTION
TWRP recovery for AOC E41
Instructions:
- Install ADB drivers on your PC.
- Download the recovery image and place it in the folder "platform-tools", located at the ADB program file folder installation
- Rename recovery file as "recovery.img" (without the quotes)
- Turn on your phone, and enable USB debugging option. Then connect the phone to the PC via USB cable.
- On file explorer, go to "platform-tools" folder on your ADB program file installation folder, press shift button, and over an empty space in the folder, do right click; then, in the floating menu, select "open command window here".
- In the command windows, enter (all commands without the quotes) "adb reboot bootloader". After that, phone vibrates shortly and its screen shows AOC logo (can be as if the image were frozen or normal and with a legend on red letter saying "fastboot mode")
- After that, in the same window, enter "fastboot erase recovery" and enter. After that, enter "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and wait the operation ends.
- After that, enter "fastboot reboot" then wait android to load completely. After complete start up, enter in the command window "adb reboot recovery". Phone must reboot into recovery mode, but this time, recovery must not be stock recovery, but TWRP recovery (touch recovery, customizable, multilanguage)
PS: If for some reason, recovery flashing doesn't work for you (blank windows or stuck in logo when reboot in recovery mode), turn off the phone (by pressing 30 seconds power button or by detaching the battery), reboot the phone and repeat the process but with the stock recovery image (for, for at least, leave the phone as before)
