THIS is a stock S3 Advanced Rom, without google apps, you can flash the the rom using SP tools and flash Gapps on top of the rom through recovery to get google servives. Tried and tested myself.

Can you include into the description how to add GAPPS?
Did you include CWM or TWRP?
Thank you for uploading it here, i got it two days ago. Works very well, does not play well together with XPosed (Gravitybox).

  Google apps have to be flashed through recovery. I ahd tried to post a twrp recovery also but hasnt been yet approved by needrom.
  I have included anything in the rom, its like i found it, even i have given the link which takes to the original post, i have no credit for the rom, i just found the rom on another forum so thought to share it. Cheers

  1. Download GAPPS and copy zip file on the root of your SD card
  
  2. Enter TWRP recovery / Wipe / Advanced wipe / check Dalvik cache and Cache – Swipe
  
  3. Back – Install – now find the zip file on your SD card and flash it.
  
  4. When done repeat wipe of cache and dalvik and reboot. That should be fine.

Is 20150324 part of the build number of the stock ROM ?

My brandnew S3S 3G/NFC shows build number 20150213-171816.

Hi,

I'd like to update my phone this way as it doesn' upadate automaticaly anymore after installing gapps as described here http://www.igadgetnews.com/201.....e-installation/.

Now, I'd like to know if it's ok to update it via the manual procedure available in the update menu as shown in screenshots attached? I've never done it and I'm not sure of what I'm doing…

- Is there a changelog for the 20150324-194940 update? Which severe defects, if any, are fixed?

- my S3S has 20150213-171816 and claims to be up to date when I check wireless update… why would that be?

- Finally, I do not have Windows (only Linux) machines. Is there a Linux equivalent for "SP tools"?

Perhaps, like I have done with other devices, I can simply use dd from twrp to write the relevant partitions

(but some need to be converted to ext4 using simg2img first). Still, any suggestion howto write update without Windows is welcome.

Hi all, recently I bought jiayu s3 3gb ram from Jiayu online store, first of all, thanks for a great phone!
second: I have this ROM Version: 20150324-194940, in this rom version problem when I try to add existing gmail accoun to sync my contacts, the issue is after inserting gmail account and password I pressing next, google application crash.
I restart my phone, google play working but there missing check-box under google account to synchronize contacts and other info such as callendar, also google play recently crash (stop workin).
so, the problem is in inserting existing google account is not going step by step, and hanging up before I finished it.
I do factory reset, not helpful.
please fix this issue
