DESCRIPTION

This custom rom was developed by Mr. Christian Troy, and is update to October 11, 2013. Works with Cyanomodgen 2,10 and Android 4.3. Some may have problems to get HDMI connected. The rest is working out fine. Battery lasts longer and wifi is very fast.

It is a compulsory requiste to have your tablet's firmware updated to last firmware for Ainol Hero 2 Quad Core version 2 ( link) and then change original bootlader  and replace it by a new recoveryTWRP 2.6.0 zip file (link) . So you need to have 4 ZIP files  inserted in a tf card ( 4gb recommended) : 

1- TWRP recovery zip file 2.6.0

2- ROM cm-10.2-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-gs702a.zip

3- gapps-jb-$DATE-signed.zip

4- jb-4.3-ainol-hero_v2-rc1.zip

It is recommended once you update original Ainol Hero 2 tablet, you should use the original bootloader menu ( once the tablet is Off, press Vol- and Power button, hold till you see your Ainol bboting messsage come  up, and release both buttons at once) and make a wipe of factory reset and wipe of cache if this is the first time you will install a new custom rom. Once these 2 operations are done, you reboot your tablet into the bootingloader menu again and pick Install from Ext SD card and install the new recovery menu TWRP 2.6.0 zip file. when you see this process as succesful! then reboot into this new bootloader and recovery menu ( touch functions are activated). once you are there, go to WIPE : Advanced wipe mode and pick all excepting the last 2 options concerning your SDCard and ExtSDcard. Then go back  and back to the main TWRP menu and continue with Install, following step 2 ( till it is succesful) and then repeat the same with steps 3 and 4.

 I will add this youtube tutorial made by Angel Alvarado for a different Ainol Tablet but the process is the same, he explains how to make it step by step, tough using an older Rom's version, but using this one updated will also work out fine. Best wishes
