Yep very stable. A pity only english for the moment. Let's hope someone can find multilanguage soon.
I have included TCL updater for Hero N3, can save your life if big disaster occur.
The root tool indeed is not necessary if flash zip rom (which is already rooted) but I include it anyway.

You need to:
-install drivers correctly first very important
-Go to settings -about phone and tap around 7 times on firmware version this way you will have devoloper options activated , in developer options select USB debugging.
Copy ROM zip format in the root of your SD card
This will let you install the chinese recovery, then enter recovery, is in chinese so be careful , you can use this pics for guidance:

Do 3 wipes (data, cache and dalvik) . Then update zip ROM and you are done . Next step install Google apps the same way as the ROM . Rom is already rooted .
To Root, and Install CWM Recovery the procedure is the same as for the TCL Idol X.
FIRST STEPS TO RECEIVE THE HERO TCL N3:
1. – Root ( If it does not come with Root )
For rooting the phone to download and install the following software:

Then see if the " Settings" menu you have the " Developers options" "if you have it in and enable " USB debugging "if you have no menu" Developer options " log onto " Setting " – > " About phone " and press 5 times on " Build number" to make this menu visible .
Once you execute enabled USB debugging you who have downloaded the software before connect the phone via USB to the PC. The software is in Chinese but is very simple with rooting the phone , just press the green icon that says " ROOT" .
It will install a superuser in Chinese, but then is possible to change it. SuperSU in english can be found in Play Store , it will request binary upgrade , accept and give permission to the Chinese superuser ( the button on the right in Chinese ) , it will ask for the mode and the binary and we choose "normal " . When finished go to the tab " Settings" SuperSU and click " Change of superuser application " SuperSU reinstall and Supersu language will change.
Two . -Custom Recovery

To install a recovery storage copy of the phone ( in the root , do not put it in a subdirectory ) and install with the option that it has Mobile Uncle tools.
Very good ROM, far more fluid than the factory one

Another way to upgrade is using TCL updater and let reflash the ROM completely. It will automatically download latest ROM available from TCL servers.
