    (you have to use root browser and replace system/etc/vold.fstab, system/etc/vold.fstab.nand , /system/bin/sdcard and  /system/bin/vold with original rom's change permissions and reboot in order to work).———I changed files,and then, phone can't start, hanging

     ok try to delete the files before replacing them (delete: vold.fstab, vold.fstab.nand, sdcard and vold files. Then put in their place the original ones you can downlod from here and change the permission to rw-r-r). If not try another rom.

   Hi,thanks,it works now,I didn't change permission before, now SD works, but this firmware have problem with camera 100%, front camera take red pictures, and rear camera can't focus sometimes, it is not problem of phone, I change another firmware, no problem of camera, so it is surely problem of your firmware, could you solve this problem?

   Dear friends,

   I just got a brand new TCL S720 with not working Google Play, telling to check the internet connection, even the connection was working. As I saw, many people had encountered this issue. But the problem is other now. First I tried to make a rom backup (its orriginal rom) and It seems it suceeded. Then I tried to flash one of this custom roms posted here, on needrom. I don't know what went wrong and now the phone stuck on boot image, it pass the animated TCL logo then stuck on an chinese logo on white background. The 2 big problems are that I can't even go on recovery mode pressing Volume + and Power buttons because nothing happens (just once I managed to get in but I did clear cache, and rset to factory defaults or something like that but it was the same after restart) and it isn't even recognised by computer, it doesn't apepar on device manager, it is asking for MTP device driver, but it seems none of drivers I tried works, even before of this the same drivers worked perfectly. Other problem I saw when it was working, It has been detected correctly as usb device by computer, the usb debugging was activated but the partitions were not accessible because the option to activate usb file transfer was inexistent. But now, the main problem is it is stuck on boot image, I can stop it holding power button, but when i start it again it remain in the same way, at boot logo. Being not recognisable by computer I cand flash it. I hear the sound when I connect it to usb, it is asking me ONLY for MTP driver, but it says it is a problem installing the driver. What can I do to make it work again?

     Other news. all of this happened using MTK Droid tools. I've put a CWM recovery and it worked to get into it but after that I've put back it's original stock recovery. After reboot, stucked on boot logo. Now I did manage to get into stock recovery. I cleaned cache, I did wipe data/factory reset but the same problem. I even put the backup rom on external sd card to reflash it from stock recovery but it doesn't find my external sd card and the update.zip on it. The worse thing is that my computer (and I've tryed on 3 and all USB and with 2 usb cables which worked before so they are ok) my computer doesn't recognise it on device manager. All what is doing is asking for MTP driver to install, but it says fail to install MTP driver.

     Any solutions to bring it back to life?  Thanks.

   shut down the phone and reflash the rom.

   as i write at the beggining….

   BUG: YOU CAN'T BOOT TO RECOVERY WITH VOL+ AND POWER BUTTON. you have to root-install "reboot recovery" apk in order to boot in recovery mode.What i did was : flashed aosp rom took a backup with twpr (be careful to backup to sd card), then flashed this rom: https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....ad/tcl-s720-2/ (almost same rom but gps doesn't work)  installed twpr with mobileuncletools and then restored my backup.

   Very bad ROM. Try to conenct chager while phone is off. Plus with this ROM SP_Flash_Tool displays pom port errors. I should say this ROM broken.

   And what author talks about SD card files? Internal card does not work without external SD card inserted in any case. Bad ROM in my opinion.

   Best firmware I have founs at this moment is:

   FLY IQ455 Octa for TCL S720 WCDMA. Native nice GUI, Mulilang, but there is some problem with internal SD card also.
