   After flashing this ROM, my phone keeps locking me out and asks for "Enter PIN – Please enter the privacy protection password to unlock". I have tried the PIN code I used to secure my phone with before I flashed, but it doesnt work. I tried to flash the phone again, and I briefly get access to the phone, but after maybe 15 seconds I get locked out and need to enter this PIN. Any idea what I should do? I am completely locked out of my phone now.

     Try 0000. If it is asking for a puk then you need to ring your service provider for the code. Cheers, Carl.

   Update went well. Just dont forget to install the driver on Windows for the succesfull update process!
   About GPS: don't expect too much changing at the GPS. It is garbage hardware in MTK chipset phones… Maybe some SW can tweak it by 10% but will not be a stable good one! It is a bad point for me as well!

   About battery: this huge battery is good, but if you use both SIM slot and the phone as well, it will be hungry by the night… so if you wish to have your phone up for longer period, get a HD (not full HD) resolution phone with huge battery, and use one SIM slot if possible. It will be really longer operating time.

   GPS is one of the best i ever had in mtk history

   locks faster than my wife S5…

   accuracy is also great

   only probs are overheat while benchmark antutu

   I got my THL5000 today,great phone,very well build,solid construction,

   Unfortunately it had to went back and I am waiting for replacement because the sim cards didn't pick up any network signal,

   I am waiting for my new phone,

   Can't wait to have it!!

   My issue is the same that jr69wc had before,

   Fortunately the store where I bought it is from a friend of mine and he still didn't sent the phone, so tomorrow I will go there and see if I solve it by turning off automatic hour and timezone,

    Avast blocked the file updater.exe in the flashtools package,

    What I do?
