   I just tried to do the update with the OTA option. The phone can find the new version. It downloads it successfully. Then the device reboots and start the system update, but within a few seconds, it stops with an error. Then it reboots again and the software was not updated.

   Shall I unroot it before I try to do the update?

   How you manage to get a OTa every time I check for new release over Settings -> About this phone -> WLAN Update. -> Check for new update
   It tells my my V1.0.7 is the latest version. I'm using the ThL 5000 16P128 MT6592T.

     hi ioginx..just sent u pm i tried several time to check update…and set look for updates weekly

     after a while it said there is new firmware (11mb) do you want to install

     everything went automatic and since i dont want root (yet) i cannot share this update file

   Hi all i hope someone can help me update to 1.09 ,im on stock rom 1.07 & it rooted my phone detects the new update 1.09 downloads it fine but wont install i get an error (Installation failled package error please check the update & download again) anyone no where im going wrong iv even tried installing it via the phones recovery but i still get a error..Do i need to unroot it befor i update or do i need to restore factory settings first any help would be greatfull thanks..

     I Unrooted & still could not update to 1.09 so Had to restore factory settings then it updated no problem

   Anyone else needed to hot update many times to get this OTA Update offered? I press now 150x to check for update..settings like yours wooley.
   Maybe they don't distribute to my Austrian IP..looks like since UK/NL and around got it already but me still no Update.

   hello, I have a problem with my thl 5000 I proceeded to do the firmware update and reboot it asks me to enter a PIN Privacy Proctetion password that I never entered. This is not the pin of the sim. Can you help me? I have the phone locked

     You have original recovery, yu must chege it to anodher recovery, i.e. TWRP from this site. For me work fine.

   Hi all,

   I'm trying to install the ThL 5000 – FL (1.0.7) but after the procedure my phone have the 1.0.6 and if I try to update via the phone tool "Wireless Update" I receive the message "Network Connection Failed".

   Could you please help me?

    Hi all,

    I have a problem with the "Good For Enterprise" app used from my Company as email mobile app.

    The "Good Support" said to my IT Department that my phone is Rooted, see below what they wrote:

    "I have reviewed the logs and determined that the device is being detected as rooted due to a custom ROM that has been installed on the device.
    Custom ROMS are often installed on devices in order to support features such as dual SIM cards. (This feature is much more common on devices sold internationally.) Unfortunately, Good cannot certify devices which are running unapproved versions of the Android OS"
    

    I'm using the Firware 1.0.9 downloaded via OTA and I checked with "Root Checker" and my phone in "NOT ROOTED".

    Do you know why "Good Support" said what highlighted in RED?

    Could you please help me?
