flashable with CWM (clockwork mod).
Put on sd and boot into CWM select flash zip from sd card.
Stock rom for the THL W8 16GB version
used for recovery
for bluetooth audio problems (garbled audio through mic when using carkit or bt ear):
found a fix for this, problem is in one of the parameters of the audio speech enhancement settings.
this is what i did :
enter engineer mode through moble uncle tools or gravity mod.
go to hardware testing
select audio
select speech enhancement
change common parameter to BT earphone
change parameter0 to parameter12
change the value to 20488
press back several times
reboot phone and test it

A friend of mine has given me a bricked THL W8 16GB (8P128) phone. When I try to power it, I see that buttons at the bottom light but the screen remains black. The screen seems ok because I see the leds light at the side. I think this phone is bricked.
Do you think it's possible to restore the phone using the SP Flash Tool and the original ROM (that I don't have) ?
yes i do think so, using sp flash tool you can flash the preloader .
just tick the box preloader select this file i uploaded in xda forum my name there is Skit75

you will need an account to download it and be sure it is a 8p128 (16GB) W8
I haven't done this myself but C3C076 the author of the gravity mod rom for the thl w8 used my preloader dump to get a 16GB restored from bricked.

i power on my device but it power on but it keep in the logo thl and change all display white.
