hey friends, I have got a funtional rom for the TV BOX based on the Amlogic s905x unbranded with the simple name M96X 1GB/8GB. This device hasn´t recovery botton and when you can go into the recovery way fake uptade.zip, you can´t wipe data/cache.
This rom is Android 6.0.1 but I don´t know if it´s rooted. I UPLOAD THIS ROM FOR DEVELOPER OR FOR WHO NEED TO REPAIR A BRICKED DEVICE, obiuosly I´m not responsible from damages devices with this rom.

I saw your post in Freaktab, so i assume you flashed this on a 2Gb RAM box, is that correct?
Only ask since I need it for a M96X Max, which is 2/16Gb.
None, I just try it ina generic m96x 1gb/8gb.
I was responding to Royobanen, which I believe was also active in an M96X thread on Freaktab, but that thread was about the 2Gb version.
Hey everyone. I am flashing this on my M96X box, and In USB Burning tool I get the Error [0x3021006]UBOOT/Disk initialize/Send command/Time out. It continues to install, but after it is finnished, when I boot the box it just hangs at the Memohi Logo forever. Any thoughts?
Hello, any chance this rom will work also on 2gb/8gb version? I wouldnt mind ending with 1gb/8gb result, just would like to avoid bricked result..

Hello , I am flashing this on my M96X box , 2gb/8gb with USB Burning Tool v 2.08 , and it works great.
I have an m96x box thats hanging in the MBOX logo screen. I got the firmware above but can't seem to get the box to see it… have used disc imager to create an SD and a USB drive with the .img but when I plug them into the box and restart it just hangs and doesn't seem to boot from there… any ideas how to make it boot from the SD img?
To boot from SD you need to get in recovery, which you can't with this box.
The only wat to flash is with usb burning tool.
By the way there is a fully working custom ROM from Magendanz on the freaktab forum which is based on the Envy M95X box.
Everything works except the clock display
My Zenoplige M96X 2/8 was bricked (many rom to test). Short circuit on pin 3-4 and with this rom work again!! better than the original.
Is there any newer firmware for this box? I have this box and while it works good, (Netflix app navagation is not ideal) I can't upgrade kodi to the latest version from the google play store. While I can install it, video playback is really choppy as it drops frames. Same video source works fine on the stock koki install. I have tried updating the kodi settings but nothing helps. There must be a custom version of kodi in the stock rom.
This ROM works flawlessly, but does anyone have a method for rooting it?
