     volevo chiederti se avevi provato questa rom e se hai trovato dei miglioramenti anche sul gps? purtroppo sul mio il gps non funziona per niente bene…

   I just received this phone. Great device but the GPS is terrible.. Flashing this ROM gives me root and that is needed for MTK tools to play with the GPS mode/settings. Has anybody noticed that GPS reception after fiddling with the GPS settings is better after flashing this ROM?

   Hello, the TWRP does not work on Android 7.
   I get it not flashed to come into the bootloader.

   I start SP flashtool and load the scatter file from the TWRP folder and would like to flash.
   He does not … what am I doing wrong? Or does the TWRP not work under Android 7 ??

   Would appreciate a quick help.

   Oh, I would like the phone only rooten so I can install rSAP for a bluetooth hands-free kit.

   Hello, I have managed to rou the Umi Plus with Android 7!

   The error was, when flashen with the SP Flashtool, you have to hold down the powerbutton + the volume button up, when the flash process starts, just release the power button and keep the volume button up.

   The process is already running smoothly.

   Then the cable from and with Powerbutton + the volume key up keep pressed the Umi Plus restart and already it goes with TWRP as usual!

    

   Sorry for the bad English, which was a translation program

   And the same again in German, for my looking country people ))

    

   Hallo, ich habe es geschafft das Umi Plus mit Android 7 zu rooten!

   Der Fehler war, beim flashen mit dem SP Flashtool, muss man den Powerbutton + die Lautstärketaste up gedrückt halten, wenn der flashprozess beginnt, nur den Powerbutton loslassen und die Lautstärketaste up weiter gedrückt halten.

   Schon läuft der Prozess sauber durch.

   Dann das Kabel ab und mit Powerbutton + die Lautstärketaste up gedrückt halten das Umi Plus neu starten und schon geht es mit TWRP wie gewohnt weiter!

     Hi Everyone,

     I had to update to the latest build (V3.01_20161228) due to replacement LCD screen drivers. Currently the existing October TWRP build does not work. To my knowledge there is currently no way to root the device on the Nougat.  I have attempted to install the TWRP on the last 3 versions of the UMI Android N builds. I have even rolled back to MM where device was previously rooted and still unable to flash TWRP again. It appears that something was updated when the Nougat update was installed. I tried the 'OEM unlocking' to unlock the bootloader tick box in developer options. I am still not able to get a successful flash of TWRP on Android 7. Just comes up with a fallen down Green Android, and the error 'no command' when I load the recovery. 

     Any help would be greatly appreciated!

   Hi, I have installed it in update (V3.01_20161228)
     TWRP 3.02 UMI PLUS.V3.01 20161019 original recovery UMI PLUS.V3.01 20161019 (78 dls) with SP flash tool after SP Flash Tool Plus boot with volume + i power (first boot after flash tool) and Plus boot With TWRP and flash SUPERSU zip.reinicio PLUS Normal and check root with success.

   Oh nice, it worked!

   Just download the offical rom, put this recovery file in place of the normal, go to sp flash tool, load the scatter file,  only click on recovery_ downoad only- then turn off umi plus, click on download, connect phone, press power butten and volume up, when procress starts remove finger from power button but press volume up

     Hatte grade das gleiche problem wieder, wusste es auch nicht mehr wie ich es früher gemacht habe und hab schon fast aufgegeben als ich dann auf meine eigene erklärung wieder gestoßen bin xD Ich danke mir in der vergangenheit xD
