Custom recovery for Cubot Cheetah2 compiled from sources. ( Rom V14 20170525 )
Works with Nougat
- Automatic MTP conection with pc, not necessary to disable MTP and enable it again.
- Default language Spanish.
- Better spanish translation and text adjusted to buttons size.
- Default time format: 24h.
- Default time format: Berlin, Brussels, Paris.
- Default brightness: 66%.
- Defaultactivated screen 120 secs.
- Default navbar inverted, same position as navbar on phone
Via SPFlashtools, tested on linux OS and windows10
Download the zip from download link (just below) and uncompress it, inside you have the recovery.img and the scatter file needed for flashtools installation. Ussual way to proceed with Flashtools.
Very important: Just installed first boot has to be in recovery mode, if not the original will rewrite this custom recovery

i installed the TWRP. Thanks for your porting.
Everything seems fine except if i make a wipe of dalvik cache every app stop working. The only solution is to wipe data or flash rom again with flashtool.
Is it normal?

how do i get to recovery? what is the button combo?
is it really laggy when I'm on TWRP? and I'm kinda confused. there's 2 data and 2 system
I followed the method to the letter a couple of times and in both was blocked when trying to restart in recovery mode.
I had to flash the rom in both cases. a bad experience
Now it is working perfectly.
My question is:
To make Root the Cheetah 2 Nougat, is it necessary to previously unlock the boot loader?
Will not it cause a disaster?

For rom v19 after flashing twrp, you must immediately enter twrp and flash magisk to boot normally! This is way to root phone, no need to unlock bootloader!
