Homtom HT37Pro TWRP 3.1.1 (by jemmini)

Instal via SP Flash Tool

Recovery is based on the kernel firmware Android 7.0 version of HOMTOM-HT37-Pro-Android_7.0-V1.0-20170728 / Fri Jul 28 13:46:49 CST 2017

1. Download and Install (as administrator) correctly Mediatek drivers

2. With flashtool load MT6737M_Android_Scatter from unpacked TWRP_HT37PRO folder, select download and after connect smartphone to pc (smartphone must be powered off and battery in)… in few seconds will start the process and the new TWRP will be flashed.

3.After installation, immediately go to TWRP (power + vol+), and not to the system.

ATTENTION!! After the installation of the TWRP, subject to changes in the system, SuperSU installation is required, otherwise the system will not boot.

Thats not work. I have HT37Pro with firmware Android 7.0 version of HOMTOM-HT37-Pro-Android_7.0-V1.0-20170728

Why do you have all the items marked? Only the item "recovery" should be marked. Just unpack the archive into a separate folder, point the way to the Scatter and flash it in the "download only" mode.

Nothing of that. Recovery itself does not work.

    - I run SPFT v5.1628.00
    - select MTK_AllinONE_DA.bin in "download agent"
    - select TWPR-3.1.1_HT37Pro1 MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt in "Scatter-loading"
    - I select "recovery" in the list
    - click "download" ("download only" in the drop-down list)
    - I connect the phone to usb (phone off, battery inserted)

Still the same error. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe something on the system? I have a win 10. I'm trying with a battery and without a battery. All attempts end in error.

And what should I see on this screen shot? In the above message, there is a link to the page describing the errors and the method of fixing them.

hi guys, i am new with that flash-tool. using it on ubuntu 16.04 LTS, graphical interface is starting, download agent found, also got the twrp version for my homtom ht37pro – but for some reason flash tool wont accept the scatter file. says "…error 8417 … scatter file is invalid"

checked the link from matroskin444 but the "solution" in the  didnt help.

is there a hint how to make that file "valid"? i really want to get rid of that official os and install lineageos ;)

      Error description 8417 and solution

An error can occur if there are incorrect characters in the path line on which the program is located or the firmware, hieroglyphics. It is acceptable to place the program and the firmware file only along the path that consists entirely of Latin characters.

    I have Build: HOMTOM-HT37-Pro-Android_7.0-V1.0-20171122

So, could I use this twrp also?

Need to try. If there were no strong changes in the kernel, then it should be established normally. If it does not load into TWRP, you will need to replace it with recovery.img-kernel.
