DESCRIPTION


This is the 3.0.0 version of the TWRP Recovery for Doogee X5

I ported this recovery from DG550 posted by Alhe Mitel https://www.needrom.com/author/alhemitel/

Everything is working

You can flash it using the latest SpFlashTools from here: https://www.needrom.com/download/sp-flash-tool-v5-1424-00/ using the scatter from the official firmware found here: https://www.needrom.com/download/doogee-x5/ and checking only recovery.img

It is also possible to flash it using RASHR, if you are rooted: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools

    I had the 2.8.7 version which was in russian, and I flashed this recovery with RASHR as suggested. Now the device doesn't boot to recovery at all and reboots to normal mode only. I tried to reflashed the 2.8.7 again, but now it does the same with that recovery also. Any help?

    too the phone restarts normal, all I have done but I can 't install the TWRP recovery, you have a solution?

    The first time you boot into recovery, it asks if you want to modify the system partition or not. I think that the original rom has a script to replace the recovery with the stock, by default, and this action disables that. Try flashing with rashr and booting into recovery when it prompts you to do so. Every recovery I released was tested personally on my device before releasing.

    Try to rename it to UPDATE then the name of the file , and flash it via OTA by selecting local update.

    I install mine twrp like that , it was in russian, but i had a theme in english with a better interface .

    Just try to flash it several time like I did it. 

    I can't boot to twrp when I flash it for the first time too.
